On 9-1-25 around 1500 I, Dep. Vonderhuevel responded to a call for service regarding a domestic where the girlfriend had just cut the boyfriend. The address responded to was [2500 BLOCK] Robin Hood Rd.

Upon arrival, I could see a male subject in a vehicle parked on Robin Hood facing the eastbound direction. I could also see another car occupied by a female subject parked close and facing the westbound direction. Upon approaching the female’s vehicle, which was a white Acura four-door sedan, the vehicle left the scene traveling eastbound. The male subject who could be seen with blood in his hand stated the female drive is the suspect.

I initiated a traffic stop activating my blue lights and sirens on my marked patrol vehicle to which the female did not stop initially. After pulling away from the scene, the female was stopped and removed from the vehicle. I detained the driver, who identified herself as Shannon Evans. Evans was read her Miranda Rights and stated she would talk to me without representation present. Evans stated she and the male subject, identified as [VICTIM #1], had a verbal altercation while packing up the apartment as they were moving. Evans stated she had grabbed a knife from his hand that he was using to cut the boxes. Evans stated as she pulled the knife away he had gotten cut but it was not intentional. Evans was placed in Cpl. Ha’s vehicle and transported back to the scene.

Upon arrival back at the scene, contact was made with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] did have a minor laceration on his hand. EMS responded, but [VICTIM #1] refused treatment. [VICTIM #1] stated that the altercation had happened after he came home to move his stuff. [VICTIM #1] stated that the two are going through a split-up, and he was moving out. [VICTIM #1] stated that during the altercation, it then escalated when [EVANS] grabbed a box cutter and cut his hand. According to [VICTIM #1], he then made the statement of “You’ll be bleeding from your neck next if you don’t get me a storage.” after cutting his hand. [EVANS] was notified as to what she was being charged with. [EVANS] was then transported to the Bibb LEC where she was booked for Aggravated Assault and Terroristic Threats both of which are family violence.
