On Friday February 6, 2026 around 1948 hours, I Lt. Smith was already at 777 Hemlock St. (Atrium Navicent Health EC) dealing with another incident when a black Honda drove up to the front door. Inside of the vehicle was Shontwain Glover, and his girlfriend [VICTIM #1]. Mr. Glover had been stabbed in the back. He stated he did not know what happened or where it happened. He was then taken inside of the EC for treatment.

While inside Mr. Glover advised he was at a store somewhere in the area of Montpellier Ave and Pio Nono Ave. when after he walked out of the store he ran into someone who he had dealings with in the past when he sold a Iphone to. He stated he does not recall that person’s name. He stated the person attempted to grab a phone from him, and after he did not allow him to grab the phone he was stabbed.

After walking back outside his girlfriend [VICTIM #1] stated she is the one who stabbed Mr. Glover because he was choking her at her apartment. I did observe several scratches on her neck and throat area. She was on the phone with her aunt (name I did not get) and she advised me that this is not the first time Mr. Glover has gotten violent with her.

After I spoke with [VICTIM #1], a female named [WITNESS #1] approached me. She stated she has a child with Mr. Glover and had heard that [VICTIM #1] had stabbed him. [WITNESS #1] advised that Mr. Glover has been violent with her as well.

Sgt. Shockley was notified of this incident along with Lt. Byrd. The report will be forwarded to both for follow up.

DEFENSE FILES MOTION TO INVOKE UNIFORM SUPERIOR COURT RULE 1.2(B) ORDER

What this means: Also on June 17, 2026, defense attorney Chloe Radford Napier filed a motion on behalf of Shontwain Keundre Glover asking the Bibb County Superior Court to apply a standing order known as the U.S.C.R. 1.2(B) Order in Criminal Cases. This order, originally signed by Judge Martha C. Christian on December 19, 2011, governs how criminal cases are managed in the Bibb County Superior Court — including timelines and procedural requirements. By invoking it, the defense is asking the court to ensure the case proceeds according to those established rules.

DEFENSE FILES COMBINED MOTION TO SET BOND AND LIFT PROBATION HOLD

What this means: On June 18, 2026, defense attorney Chloe Radford Napier filed a Combined Motion to Set Bond and Lift Probation Hold on behalf of Shontwain Keundre Glover in Bibb County Superior Court. The motion asks the court to do two things: set a reasonable bond so Glover can be released from custody while the case is pending, and lift the probation hold that is keeping him jailed. The filing notes that Glover has remained in custody since his arrest on June 8, 2026. The defense argues that Glover poses no significant flight risk, no danger to the community, and no risk of witness intimidation or obstruction of justice, and that he would remain within Bibb County if released. A hearing on this motion is to be scheduled by the court.
