On November 5, 2025 at approximately 1944hrs I, Cpl. J. Holmes responded to 5540 Thomaston Rd, Suite C the Sun Nails salon in reference to disorderly conduct.
Upon my arrival, I met with [VICTIM #1] who stated that her business partner, Thuan Tran threw a chair at her twice and hit her left arm leaving a visible bruise near her elbow. [VICTIM #1] also stated that she has pain in her arm and appeared to have difficulty moving her arm at the elbow.
[VICTIM #1] stated that she and Tran had a disagreement about the cash drawer totals and that $43 was missing. She stated that she asked Tran where the money was and he told her that he doesn’t want her handling the money anymore. [VICTIM #1] stated that she asked what she was supposed to do because she will have to replace the money because she was responsible for the money today and Tran can be seen/heard on video yelling while moving towards her. Tran picks up a chair and throws it towards [VICTIM #1] hitting her on the left arm. As [VICTIM #1] moves towards the entry/exit door, Tran picks up the same chair and throws it towards her again. She then exits the salon and states that she went to her vehicle.
[VICTIM #1] stated that she saved the videos from the salon camera DVR before Tran could disable the cameras because he has done so in the past. She stated that the cameras would be disabled then merchandise or money would go missing. [VICTIM #1] also stated that Tran took the Verizon internet/WiFI device that is used to provided internet connectivity to the cameras and point of sale system.
An attempt to make contact with Tran at his listed address of [3100 BLOCK] Whiteside Dr was unsuccessful with no answer at the door.
Arrest warrants for Thuan Tran will be issued for one count of battery and one count of disorderly conduct.
[End of Narrative]
