On 05/18/2025, I, Sergeant Grube, responded to 4376 Log Cabin Drive (Mid-Town Daiquiri Bar and Grill) in reference to multiple people shot.
Upon arrival, I located multiple people shot in the parking lot area and requested assistance from EMS and Fire Rescue. I observed five victims in the parking lot area in front of the dentist office. I observed that several of the vehicles (Nissan Armada -[REDACTED], Honda Accord- [REDACTED], Toyota Camry – [REDACTED]) near the victims had been shot up. There were people all around the victims causings chaos and preventing deputies from securing the scene. Additional deputies were requested for crowd control. Deputies and officers from surrounding jurisdictions were notified and responded to assist.
Deputies, EMS, and Fire provided medical aid. EMS transported several patients to Atrium Health Navicent, including two of the victims I had observed by the dentist office. Medical aid continued on the other three until it was determined that they were deceased.
Persons Investigations and Crime Lab were requested. Investigation was turned over to Lt. C. Lewis. The Coroners Office responded to the scene. The three deceased were identified as [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #2], and [VICTIM #3].
