On 11/29/2025 at 1530 hours I Deputy Mattox responded to Family Supermarket 2965 Houston Ave. Macon, in reference to a fight and shots spotter notifications.
Upon arrival the parking lot was cleared out. I did locate 10 rifle shell casings. I went inside and spoke to the clerk Mrs. [WITNESS #1]. She showed me the store camera which had two vehicles parked at the corner of the building a black SUV style vehicle and what appeared to be a black coup vehicle. It appears that the people who stepped from the vehicles were talking and getting along.
Across the street you can see 2 people walking toward the store from Rutherford Ave. As they get close to Houston Ave. they split up. After they split up a few moments later you can see the people in front of the building running ducking. While they were running they produced weapons of their own and started shooting back. The building was hit multiple times.
Dep. Vonderhuevel while I reviewing the cameras located 15 pistol shell casings from Rutherford Ave and located 7 pistol shell casings from in front of the door of the Family Supermarket. All shell casings were collected into separate bags.
Cpl. Min Ha and Lt. Inzar responded to the scene. Inv. Bryant was notified. Shell casings were submitted to Crime Lab on Houston Ave. Macon, Ga.
