On May 4, 2026, I (Deputy D. Stokes) was dispatched to the Atrium Navicent Hospital Emergency room in reference to a stabbing.
Once on scene, I was escorted to the victim, [VICTIM #1]. He had been driven to the hospital by his wife and witness to the incident, [WITNESS #1]. [VICTIM #1] told me that he had gotten into an argument with his brother, Xavier Davis, at Pendleton Homes at [3400 BLOCK] Houston Ave., Macon, Ga. outside of apartment [REDACTED]. He stated the argument was about money and drugs. [VICTIM #1] said that Xavier accused him of being in the Mafia street gang. They began to fight and Xavier pulled out a knife and stabbed [VICTIM #1] in the upper left part of his chest and shoulder around the collar bone. There was also a cut on [VICTIM #1]’s right arm. He stated he didn’t know he was stabbed at first. He said after the altercation he ran in the apartment and [WITNESS #1] drove him to the hospital upon seeing he had been stabbed.
I spoke to [WITNESS #1] at the hospital and she added that Xavier stabbed [VICTIM #1] in front of her two children [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] along with 2 or 3 other neighborhood children. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] both stated that Xavier doesn’t have a permanent address but can be found all over south Macon.
I gave [VICTIM #1] a victim’s case pamphlet and advised him that warrants will be taken out for Xavier. 5 counts of CRUELTY TO CHILDREN 3RD DEGREE and 1 count of AGGRAVATED ASSAULT. Persons Investigation was not notified since the suspect was identified. Witnesses state there is a surveillance camera looking directly over the area of the incident.
