DGR’s Clubhouse, located at 281 Hwy 87 Bypass N. Cochran, GA 31014, received a score of 67 points out of a possible 100 points during their 08/03/2026 inspection by the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The violations noted by the inspector were:

Violation #1:
3-1C – food in good condition, safe, and unadulterated
511-6-1.04(3)(e) – package integrity (pf)

Inspector Notes: Condensation observed from top of the walk in cooler unit onto the other boxes and running off into celery box onto the raw celery. CA: Food packages shall be in good condition and protect the integrity of the contents so that the food is not exposed to adulteration or potential contaminants. COS: Celery voluntarily discarded and bin placed to catch the condensation.

6-1A – proper cold holding temperatures

Inspector Notes: Observed multiple items including hamburger steaks(raw) and Po Boy Sauce out of temperature in the top of the reach in cooler at temperature exceeding 50 degrees Fahrenheit. CA: Time temperature control for safety food shall be maintained 41 degrees Fahrenheit for safety. COS: Items not being out more than 4 hours were migrated to the in temperature prep top cooler.

Inspector Notes: Two spray bottle of chemicals unlabeled on the rack for the hostesses. CA: Working containers used for storing poisonous or toxic materials such as cleaners and sanitizers taken from bulk supplies shall be clearly and individually identified with the common name of the material. COS: Bottle emptied and relabeled.

CA: Except as specified in paragraphs 2. and 3. of this subsection, food shall be protected from contamination by storing the food: (i)In a clean, dry location; (ii)Where it is not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and (iii)At least 6 inches (15 cm) above the floor. COS: Items moved to proper storage location.

Inspector Notes: Scoop for the flour stored with the handle in contact with the food. CA: During pauses in food preparation or dispensing, food preparation and dispensing utensils shall be stored: 1. Except as specified under paragraph 2. of this subsection, in the food with their handles above the top of the food and the container; 2. In food that is not time / temperature control for safety food with their handles above the top of the food within containers or equipment that can be closed, such as bins of sugar, flour, or cinnamon; 3. On a clean portion of the food preparation table or cooking equipment only if the in-use utensil and the food-contact surface of the food preparation table or cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized at a frequency specified under DPH Rule 511-6-1-.05(7)(b) and (8)(a); 4. Inspector Notes: Observed many pieces of equipment in the kitchen with dirty exteriors, accumulations of dirt, debris and soils from sauces or juices on them. CA: Non-food contact surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned at a fequency necessary to prevent the accummulation of soil and debris on the outside of the equipment. Correct within 72 hours.

Inspector Notes: Mop sink is inoperable at the time of inspection. CA: At least one service sink or one curbed cleaning facility equipped with a floor drain shall be provided and conveniently located for the cleaning of mops or similar wet floor cleaning tools and for the disposal of mop water and similar liquid waste. Toilets and urinals may not be used as a service sink for the disposal of mop water and similar liquid waste. Correct within 2 weeks.

Inspector Notes: Observed rat dropping in the back storage closet again. Less than last time but the presence is still enough that leavings are noticeable. Observed a number of flies in the kitchen as well. CA:The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled to minimize their presence on the premises by: 1.Routinely inspecting incoming shipments of food and supplies; 2.Routinely inspecting the premises for evidence of pests; 3.Using methods, if pests are found, such as trapping devices or other means of pest control as specified under subsections (6)(e), (6)(m), and (6)(n) of this Rule;Pf and 4. Eliminating harborage conditions. Correct within 1 week.
