On 03-18-2026 at about 1926 hours, I, Officer Smith was dispatched to the railroad crossing at Ga520 near James Street in reference to a disorderly passenger who was escorted off the train and arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction of an law enforcement officer.

Once at the intersection, I spoke with the train attendent who stated the individual was up stairs and I could hear someone yelling. As I got up the stairs I could see an attendent hold a the guy that was yelling. I attempted to talk to the individual but was unsuccessful. I asked the individual later identified as Aaron Canfijn to have a seat, Canfijn grabbed my left wrist and that went I pushed him into the seat and advised him that he was under arrest. Canfijn continued to struggle and would not put his hands behind his back after being instructed to several times. After a passenger assested, Canfijn was placed in wrist restrains and escorted off the train and taking to my patrol car. Canfijn refused to get in the backseat of my vehicle until he was forced in and then Canfijn started kicking my doors and windows. I then transported Canfijn to the Brantley COuty Sheriff’s Office where he was accepted by the jail staff after being cleared by medical personnel.

Canfijn was cited for obstruction of a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct.
