On August 20, 2025, around 1906 hrs., the Brantley County Dispatch Center received a call in reference to a 52-year-old male being hit in the head/arm with a “sander”. The caller advised he was bleeding from the head. At approximately 1918 hrs., I was dispatched the call, and the caller advised he was at the entrance of Jones Rd., at Boots Harrison Rd.

Upon my arrival I spoke with the complainant/victim [VICTIM #1], and a witness by the name of [WITNESS #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that he just bought a trailer, and [WITNESS #1] was taking it to his residence for him. He then stated Adam was walking on Jones Rd., and when they went past him Adam started running his mouth about a side by side that [VICTIM #1] believed Adam stole. [VICTIM #1] stated that he gets out of the vehicle to confront Adam, and they stand nose to nose. [VICTIM #1] stated that instead of Adam fighting him he (Adam) grabbed a grinder out of the wheelbarrow that he is pushing and hit [VICTIM #1] on the head. He also hit [VICTIM #1] on the right arm with the grinder as well. I then asked was the wheelbarrow with the tools inside of it his, and he stated no.

I then spoke with [WITNESS #1]. I asked [WITNESS #1] what happened, and he stated exactly what [VICTIM #1] said. I then asked what Adam said, and [WITNESS #1] stated that he did not really know. [WITNESS #1] stated that they [VICTIM #1], and Adam were talking when Adam hit him with the Grinder. I then asked where Adam went, and he stated over to [REDACTED]’s residence. [WITNESS #1] did state that [REDACTED] showed up to get his tools, but they told him he was not getting the tools until the law showed up.

After speaking with [VICTIM #1], and [WITNESS #1] [REDACTED] walked back over to get his tools/wheelbarrow. I asked if Adam was at his residence, and he stated no. [VICTIM #1] then spoke up stating something to the effect of Adam told [REDACTED] what he done. [REDACTED] stated that Adam walked in his residence, and stated to [REDACTED] where his tools were, and then left. Deputy Drew Stone then arrived on scene.

I stated to Drew there was an address off of Armadillo Run that I wanted to check, and that Adam would probably run on foot. We then went to the address of [200 BLOCK] Armadillo Run. Upon pulling into the driveway a female took off on foot going inside the residence, but we were unable to located Adam. A warrant for Aggravated Assault is being secured for his arrest. Adam also has a Parole warrant out for his arrest.

Note: [VICTIM #1] had a cut on the top of his head that was bleeding, and a cut on his upper forearm that was bleeding.
