On 11/19/2024 at approximately 23:30 hours I was dispatched to [50 BLOCK] timber lane to a fight between two males in Brantley County, GA.
Upon my arrival I approached the front porch of the home and observed Mr. [VICTIM #1] (brother) holding Mr. Bronz Cornelius (brother) by the wrist restricting his movement and blood coming from Mr. Bronz nose. I separated them and pulled Mr. Bronz to the side and asked what happened. I could smell an Alcoholic beverage coming from Mr. Bronz breath. I then requested dispatch to send EMS to check him out. Mr. Bronz did not want to give me his side of things and stated ” I plead the 5th.”
I asked Mr. [VICTIM #1] what happened and he stated that Ms. [VICTIM #2] (mother) was telling Mr. Bronz to leave and he was refusing and acting irate and cussing. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated Ms. [VICTIM #2] then stated she told Mr. Bronz she was going to call the cops and at that time Mr. Bronz grabbed her phone obstructing her from calling 911. Mr. [VICTIM #1] got involved at this time to separate Mr. Bronz and Ms. [VICTIM #2] and Mr. Bronz started shoving and hitting him and thats when the physical altercation began. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Bronz did hit him a couple of times and did state he did throw some punches when Mr. Bronz was grabbing and twisting his balls.
Ms. [VICTIM #2] statement was the same. Ms. [VICTIM #2] stated Mr. Bronz come up cussing and yelling so she told him to leave. Mr. Bronz would not so Ms. [VICTIM #2] told him she was going to call the police and thats when Mr. Bronz tried to take her phone. Ms. [VICTIM #2] stated her and Mr [VICTIM #1] held him down until we could get there.
EMS arrived and checked him out.
I placed Mr. Bronz under arrest. Handcuffs were placed to the rear double locked and checked for fit. Mr. Bronz was transported to the Brantley County Jail and turned over to jail staff with out further incident.
I will be charging Mr. Bronz with Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing or hindering a person making emergency calls.
