On above date and time while I was responding to a domestic dispute with my emergency equipment activated I saw the offender on her John Deer Gator. I was traveling east bound and the offender was traveling west bound. When the offender saw me she left the road way and drove into the median then exited her side by side and entered my lane of travel on foot. She started waving her arms around as if to get me to stop. At the speed I was driving I was not able to stop before I got to the offender but was able to maneuver my patrol vehicle where as to not hit her. Luckily the vehicles that I was passing saw what was going on and were able to get out of the way when I had to slam on brakes.

I notified dispatch what had just happened and told them that I was going to take myself off the domestic dispute so I could deal with the offender. As I was trying to turn around Chief Deputy John Simpson notified me that the offender had warrants. I then saw the offender get back on her side by side and enter into traffic on the west bound lane and start traveling west again. I then went trough the median and caught back up to the side by side and pulled the offender over to the shoulder of the road. Once stopped, the offender exited the side by side and ran back to my patrol vehicle before I could exit it. Once out of the vehicle I placed the offender under arrest due to her having a warrant and operating an off road vehicle on the roadway.

While I was placing handcuffs on the offender, I could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person. When I asked the offender if she had been drinking she stated no. After placing her in the back seat of my patrol vehicle, I asked the offender if she would submit to a field breath test. She stated yes. The offender bearly blew into the PBT and it registered a high alcohol concentration. I then read the offender implied concent from the green card and asked for blood. The offender agreed to give a blood sample.

At this time is when Officer Sturgill came to the scene. I asked Officer Sturgill if he would transport the offender to the jail while I waited on the wrecker. When I was on the way to the jail I was contacted by Chief Deputy John Simpson who asked me to go by the court house and pick up a TPO on the offender and serve it to her. When I arrived at the jail, EMS was already on scene. I gave the EMS crew a new unopened evidence box to secure the blood sample in. Once the blood evidence was taken, the box was placed into evidence.
