On Saturday, March 15, 2025, at approximately 0846 hours, officers were dispatched to [70 BLOCK] Henry Street in reference to a verbal dispute between Sandy Chester and [WITNESS #1]. Upon arrival, officers observed Mr. Chester and Mr. [WITNESS #1] engaged in a heated argument in the street.
This incident follows a previous response to the same location on the prior date, March 14, 2025, involving the same two individuals and a similar dispute. During that encounter, Officer Larry Champion issued Mr. Chester a criminal trespass warning and instructed him to stay away from Mr. [WITNESS #1] and cease all forms of harassment.
Despite those prior instructions, Mr. Chester returned to the location and continued to engage in confrontational behavior with Mr. [WITNESS #1]. Mr. Chester refused to comply with verbal commands on scene and was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct.
He was transported to the Brantley County Jail without incident. Mr. Chester was advised upon arrest, and again prior to transport, that he is to have no further contact with Mr. [WITNESS #1]. He was further warned that continued harassment could lead to escalation and potential injury to either party.
