Today August 3rd, 2025, I Deputy Cooper was dispatched to [300 BLOCK] Whisper Ridge Loop in reference to theft.

Upon arrival I met the complainant Ms. Sharina Thomas who informed me that her daughter and two other individuals stole her purse and cell phone. Ms. Thomas continued to talk mumbling low and staring off into the other direction not being very clear. Ms. Thomas also said people were coming from under her house. Ms. Thomas seemed to be under the influence of some type of drug or medication.

I was dispatched to the residence a second time upon arrival I spoke with Ms. Thomas again who informed me that her daughter crawled inside her house through the dog door and stole her medication. Ms. Thomas was holding her purse at the time that she claimed it was taken. I walked around back to check for footprints or any sign of forced entry which I did not find. Ms. Thomas also said that two cell phones had been stolen by her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend.

I was dispatched for a third time and this time Sgt. Vanessa Wilson assisted me with the call. Ms. Thomas told us the first time that she was standing on the front porch smoking when her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend ran out the front door with her purse. Then Ms. Thomas told us that she was standing on the front porch and her daughter and daughter’s boyfriend walked inside then ran out of the house. Ms. Thomas also said that her daughter and daughter’s boyfriend were staying underneath her house. Sgt. Wilson and I stepped to the back porch while Ms. Thomas pulled the skirting back on her house, but there was no sign of anyone going under the residence. Finally, we entered Ms. Thomas’s bedroom where Sgt. Wilson spotted Ms. Thomas’s purse. Ms. Thomas was cited and arrested for Disorderly Conduct (CO 45-01) for calling and reporting false crimes.
