The complainant, [VICTIM #1] came to Waynesboro Police Department to file a report in reference to an assault.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she has had several issues with the offender, Bruniyia Wesby, [VICTIM #1] stated that on several occasions, Wesby has tried to fight her and also made aggressive comments to her children that referenced fighting.

[VICTIM #1] stated that on 08/24/23 at approximately 2130, she was standing outside near the culdasac, just past apartment [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in Magnolia Acres, [VICTIM #1] stated that she observed Bruniyia Wesby’s brother, [VICTIM #2] and went over to talk to him about Bruniyia.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she asked [VICTIM #2] if he could do something with his sister or talk to her and get her to leave [VICTIM #1] and her family alone. [VICTIM #1] stated that while standing there with [VICTIM #2], she observed Bruniyia Wesby entering Magnolia Acres in her red in color Ford Focus and driving towards her.

[VICTIM #1] said that Wesby drove the car towards her at a fast rate of speed and stopped. [VICTIM #1] said [VICTIM #2] got in between her and the vehicle. [VICTIM #1] stated [VICTIM #2] then got hit by the car.

[VICTIM #1] stated that [REDACTED] then jumped into the driver seat and pushed Bruniyia in the passenger seat. [VICTIM #1] said they left the apartments.

I was able to view cameras at Magnolia Acres and cooperated key details given by [VICTIM #1]. Warrants for Aggravated Assault and Criminal Trespass were obtained.
