On July 14th, 2024 at approximately 01:05 hours all 700 units were toned to a person shot at [200 BLOCK] or [200 BLOCK] Peoples Road Jackson, Ga 30233. Butts County 911 could not advise if the victim shot self inflicted or by another person.

While enroute information was given that the victim is at Keys Ferry Valero. I went to the Valero. DEPUTY DORSEY responded to [200 BLOCK] Peoples Rd.

When arriving at the Valeo (Keys Ferry Rd) I made contact with SGT VICK. SGT VICK and FF/EMS Lamar that was administering aid to a white male later identified as AARON WHITE. WHITE had been struck in the left wrist/hand area. WHITS saud he had been shot. SGT VICK had applied a tourniquet on WHITE. Another female was on scene, [REDACTED] who was wearing a black dress. She was advised to wait by a marked patrol car until further instruction.

A White F-150 then arrived on scene with a bloody hand print on the driver side near the back door. [WITNESS #1] exited the driver seat with no shirt on and blue jeans. [WITNESS #1] was covered in blood. [WITNESS #1] opened the back door of his truck and then stated, “My son is shot and he needs help” and walked away from the truck. I then notified Butts County 911 we had another gunshot victim [VICTIM #1] which appeared to have multiple gun shot wounds to the torso and the left groin and he was unresponsive.

I then retrieved my trauma medical kit out of my trunk. My kit was then used by SGT VICK , FF/EMS LAMAR and DEPUTY ALLEN for [VICTIM #1].

I then checked on AARON WHITE to make sure he was still conscious and alert. I then advised Butts County 911 to notify on call CID.

A blue Ford F-350 Dully then arrived on scene at Keys Ferry Valero later determined to be driven by a [REDACTED]. AARON WHITE then asked to speak to me and he stated, “I hear the man who shot me talking”. I then asked him what his name was and he stated he should be occupying a blue truck. I then advised Deputy Allen a possible shooter just arrived on scene. WHITE stated he did fire his weapon at him but did not specify who he shot at.

I then gathered everyone’s information on scene and then placed crime scene tape around the vehicles.

[REDACTED] was very distraught and he began to hyperventilate. I then asked [REDACTED] to have a seat on the ground by the nearest gas pump and he complied. He then started to state, “I will tell you everything that happened.”

[VICTIM #1] was then transported by EMS to a Sylvan Grove. AARON WHITE was transported to Piedmont Henry Hospital for further treatment.

Deputy Allen then started the crime scene log and it was turned over to me.
