On September 2nd, 2026, at approximately 1600 hours, I (Deputy Mauldin) was dispatched to 1125 Bucksnort Road (Flying J Truck Stop parking) in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Upon my arrival, I made contact with the complainant, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that he and his team driving partner, later identified as Patricia Lynn, were unable to get along due to what [REDACTED BY AGENCY] described as Lynn being mentally unstable, stating that she kept instigating arguments with him and he wanted her to stop instigating fights.

After speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I made contact with Lynn. Lynn stated that she and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had a previous relationship, which was no longer in effect. She stated that [REDACTED] tends to lose his temper over small things and that she was only attempting to get him to calm down, stating that they should leave their personal business separate from their driving because she wanted to make money.

After speaking with both parties, I advised them both that a good option would be to call their company, explain that they weren’t able to get along, and maybe request to be placed with a different team driving partner. Both parties agreed that this would be the best option, with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stating that he would be in touch with his boss in reference to the argument.

At this time, both parties agreed to remain cordial until arrangements could be made to remove one of the individuals from the situation.

On September 2nd, 2026 at approximately 1729 hours, I (Deputy Mauldin) was dispatched again to 1125 Bucksnort Road in reference to a report of a physical altercation involving a female armed with a knife, with the caller being the same caller from 1600 hours this date.

Upon my arrival, I made contact with Deputy Stillwell, who arrived before I did. He advised me that the female from earlier this date, Patricia Lynn, physically attacked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with a knife, which Deputy Stillwell advised was caught on video. At this time, Mr. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] showed me the video he took of the incident. In the video (which is attached), Lynn can be seen yelling at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then swinging a knife toward Mr. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] right side from behind. At this time, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] attempted to lean away from Lynn, who then began punching [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the area of the face, as well as using one hand to grab what appears to be [REDACTED BY AGENCY] throat. Injuries from the altercation could be seen to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] right cheek, which had a small laceration. There were also small lacerations to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] arm, as well as what appeared to be bruising forming around [REDACTED BY AGENCY] eyes and face.

After the incident took place inside the truck, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that he got out of the semi truck in an attempt to enter his Lyft ride, which had arrived during the altercation. At this time, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he began to walk toward the Lyft, when Lynn followed him out of the truck and began to punch him. The Lyft driver, stated that she also observed Lynn punch [REDACTED BY AGENCY] which she provideda written statement on.

After speaking with Mr. [REDACTED BY AGENCY], I opened the rear door of Deputy Stillwell’s car to speak with Ms. Lynn. I advised Lynn that I needed to read her Miranda Rights to her, which she allowed. At this time, she advised “yes,” that she would answer questions without her attorney present. Lynn stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not work for the same company as she did, which contradicts her statement from earlier this date when she advised that they both worked for the company.

She stated that she wanted [REDACTED BY AGENCY] leave the truck, which [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that he wanted to do, but had no money. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Lynn was the one that called him the Lyft, so he could get to Atlanta to have access to family and resources. Lynn then stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] would not leave the truck, so she felt the need to attempt to make him leave the truck, which is when she began physically attacking [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. A thorough search was conducted by multiple deputies to locate the knife, but the knife was ultimately not recovered.

After speaking with both parties and the witness, I took possession of Lynn from Deputy Stillwell, placed her in the back seat of my patrol vehicle with handcuffs checked for fit and double-locked, and transported her to Butts County Jail without incident. At this time, a victim notification form was filled out for [REDACTED] to be notified upon Lynn’s release, and Lynn was turned over to jail staff.

A warrant was taken out for Aggravated Assault, due to Lynn attacking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] armed with a knife, as well as what appeared to be asphyxiation in the cab of the truck. The video provided by [REDACTED BY AGENCY] will be attached to this report.
