I was dispatched to the above address in the City of Kingsland for a drunk female on the above date and time.

While en-route dispatch advised me that the caller’s boyfriend’s sister was at their house trying to take her baby and leave, she is highly intoxicated.

Once I arrived on the scene I made contact with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2]. While speaking with both individuals they advised that Mr. [VICTIM #1]’s sister whom they identified as Barbara Luke, came back home intoxicated and tried to take her baby and leave. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised that he was not going to allow Ms. Luke to drive off with the child after she had been drinking all night, along with fighting at the bar. When asked what had happened they both advised that she came home and was yelling and trying to snatch the baby away so she can leave.

After speaking with both individuals I asked where would she possibly going and they advised that she may be heading toward The Meadows to fight a female from the bar. At that moment I left and headed towards The Meadows to search for a Silver Ford Focus. After a few minutes, I received another call back at [100 BLOCK] Edwards Dr and was informed by dispatch that Ms. Luke has returned and is now trying to fight the caller.

Once on scene, I made contact with the same two individuals Ms. Luke and [WITNESS #1] who had brought Ms. Luke back to get her child. While on scene Ms. Luke was observed to be sitting on the ground screaming and crying, while trying to calm her I noticed the strong odor of alcohol coming from her person as she was speaking. While speaking with Mr. [VICTIM #1] he advised that his sister had come inside and once again tried to take her son and then became physical with Mr. [VICTIM #1]. He informed me that he did not hit her but did put her on the ground so she could not attack him anymore. While speaking with Ms. [VICTIM #2] she advised of the same along with informing me that he did not hit her just put her on the ground.

I then asked Ms. [WITNESS #1] who she was and she informed me that she was the grandmother to the baby and was going to take the child with her. When asked if she saw what happened she informed me that she did not but only heard yelling from the residence. After a few minutes of speaking with everyone, Ms. Luke was placed under arrest for the above City Charges with her hands behind her back and double locked. Ms. Luke was then transported to the Camden County Jail.
