On November 8, 2022 at approximately 9:45 P.M., I met with complainant and victim Ms. [VICTIM #1] at the Camden County Sherriff’s Substation on GA Hwy 40 in Kingsland GA, 31548 in reference to aggravated stalking.

Upon arrival I met with Ms. [VICTIM #1], who is the protected person from Mr. Dakota Jones, by protection order issued and in effect November 1, 2022. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Jones had just bonded out of jail and was issued bond conditions including the protection order. In that order one of the conditions states “The subject is restrained from making any communication with the protected person “Ms. [VICTIM #1]” including but not limited to, personal, written, or telephone contact, or their employers, employees or fellow workers, or others with whom the communication would be likely to cause annoyance or alarm the victim.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] showed me messages she received from Mr. Dakota Jones on November 8, 2022 at 7:30 P.M. That message contained a screenshot of replies in reference to his mugshot from jail. Ms. [VICTIM #1] showed me additional messages sent from Mr. Dakota Jones on November 8, 2022 at 8:35 P.M., and they stated

“It’s a girl” “It” “That’s my less than human life” “Sorry for messaging. Feel free to tell someone about it so I can go to jail again since everyone seems to know my situation and what I aid and what I mean and who I am” “Because that’s that’s where I’m at” “Omg, I should even be taking to you” “And you knew that. You avoided me when you came to tan. Have fun with the cool kids. Maybe I’ll find solice in the vagrant people who pitch tents under bridges” “Because thats where my life is at. You happy?”

Ms. [VICTIM #1] never responded to any of these messages. I then had officer’s make contact with Mr. Jones at his residence, place him under arrest for violation of the protection order (Aggravated Stalking), place him in handcuffs double locked, and into the back of their patrol vehicle. Mr. Jones was then transported to the Camden County Main Jail for arrest and booking procedures without incident.

A warrant for Mr. Jones will be secured for the above offense.
