On the above date, at 1118 hours, I was dispatched to 1725 S Highway 27 (Murphy USA) in reference to a female sitting on the curb wearing a black tank top and dark blue jeans screaming and making obscene gestures at customers at the gas station. Upon arrival, I saw a female, later identified as Brandy Roberson, matching that description, sitting on the curb by one of the entrances/exits to Murphy.

It should be noted that the gas station was very busy at this time and there were multiple customers pumping gas and going in and out of the gas station that could see and hear Brandy.

As I exited my marked patrol vehicle, I heard Brandy yell “rape” and start giggling. As I approached Brandy she started asking why I was there, what I was doing, talking about my car, calling me a fireman, and a lot of other random things. Brandy would barely allow me to speak. Brandy was also being loud, yelling, and cussing at times. Brandy would not explain why she was there, what she was doing, and refused to identify herself. Brandy got up and attempted to walk away. I told Brandy that she was not free to leave. Brandy proceeded to keep walking away and not obeying lawful commands, so I told her she was under arrest.

I placed Brandy’s hands behind her back, checked the handcuffs for tightness, and double locked them. I then escorted Brandy back to my patrol vehicle and placed her in the rear seat. Brandy was still refusing to identify herself.

Search incident to arrest, I located paperwork in Brandy’s items with her name on them. I ran Brandy’s name through the computer system and was able to identify her. I showed the driver’s license picture of Brandy to herself and she confirmed it was a picture of her. Interops also showed Brandy was missing from Carroll County and had a felony VOP warrant out of Bartow County. Both were confirmed through dispatch. Brandy still denied that her time was Brandy and continued to talk and yell erratically.

Once we arrived at the jail, the staff wanted Brandy to be medically cleared before they would accept her.

I took Brandy to Tanner to get medically cleared. At the hospital, Brandy admitted on her own free will that she smoked methamphetamine with [REDACRED] in his tent, not too far from Murphy USA.

Once medically cleared, I transported Brandy back to Carroll County Jail, where she continued to speak erratically and claim her name was not Brandy.

I told Brandy she was given two citations and that they would be put with her personal belongings at the jail and not to miss her court date.
