On December 28, 2025, at approximately 1732 hours, I responded to 1109 South Park Street (Publix) in reference to a drunk female sleeping in the bathroom. The caller advised that they attempted to wake the female but were unsuccessful.

Upon arrival, I met with the Publix Manager, who walked me to the Women’s bathroom, where she stated the intoxicated female, later identified as Brittany Davis, was sleeping. The Manager checked the bathroom to make sure no other customers were inside, then I entered to make contact with Brittany.

I entered the bathroom and observed Brittany in an unlocked bathroom stall, with the door partially ajar. I also observed a plastic bag on the ground near Brittany containing two empty bottles of Chi-Chis Peach Margarita. I announced my presence and told Brittany she needed to leave the store. Brittany did not respond, and I pushed the stall door open.

Brittany was sitting on the toilet with her arms on her knees, with her pants down, apparently asleep. I smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from Brittany’s person. I again told Brittany she needed to leave and tapped her shoulder. Brittany finally began to wake up and asked what was going on, and I told her she needed to gather her belongings and exit the store.

Brittany gathered her belongings, and I escorted her out of the store. I asked Brittany if she was drinking inside the store, and she stated she did not, and she drank the alcohol outside in the parking lot.

Due to Brittany drinking in public and sleeping in the Publix bathroom in a state of undress because of her intoxicated state, I placed her under arrest for Disorderly Conduct Public Drunk C66-7(A)(21). I transported Brittany to the Carroll County Jail, where I turned her over to jail staff for processing.
