On July 28, 2025, at approximately 1647 hours, I, Officer McKinnon, responded to 600 Carrollton Villa Rica Highway at Walmart in reference to a physical altercation.

Upon arrival, I located to the left entrance of the business near the garden center. I met with two black females, identified as [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1]. I observed [WITNESS #1] holding a female child, identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [VICTIM #1] advised she, [WITNESS #1], and [REDACTED] were at the checkout, when a black male, later identified as Calib Ryan, approached them. [VICTIM #1] explained she knew Calib but did not elaborate further on their relationship.

[VICTIM #1] advised Calib began a verbal dispute with her. [VICTIM #1] advised she told Calib to stop approaching her, but he ignored her. [VICTIM #1] explained Calib became offensive by approaching her in a fighting stance while yelling. [VICTIM #1] advised she continued to tell Calib to leave her alone. [VICTIM #1] explained Calib physically grabbed her, placing her in a head-lock style hold. [VICTIM #1] advised she and [WITNESS #1] were able to physically fight him, deterring any further violence. [VICTIM #1] explained she observed Calib exit the Walmart into the parking lot. [VICTIM #1] advised she did not observe whether Calib left the parking lot on foot or by vehicle.

I observed no physical injuries on [VICTIM #1], [WITNESS #1] or [REDACTED BY AGENCY] person. Photographs were taken of the females.

I was made aware of video footage by loss prevention agent, [REDACTED]. I observed [VICTIM #1], [WITNESS #1], and [REDACTED] all actively at the checkout. I observed Calib approach [VICTIM #1]. I observed a conversation occur between [VICTIM #1] and Calib. No audio was captured so I am unsure of what was said during the conflict. I observed Calib continuously move back and forth to the females speaking something unknown. I observed Calib ball his fists down by his side while moving closer to [VICTIM #1] while yelling.

I observed Calib rush towards [VICTIM #1] placing his arms around her neck in a chokehold. I observed [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1] begin throwing punches at Calib, eventually causing him to let go of [VICTIM #1]. I observed [REDACTED BY AGENCY], the juvenile, sitting in a shopping cart approximately ten yards from the physical altercation. I observed Calib exit out of the cameras frame seemingly leaving the scene.

[VICTIM #1] explained she was constricted of breathing during the assault and wished to press charges against Calib.

[VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1] were given case numbers.

Three active Carroll County warrants for Calib Ryan have been signed by a judge, including,

• Aggravated Assault-OCGA 16.5-21
• Cruelty To Children 3rd Degree- OCGA 16-5-70(d)(2)
• Disorderly Conduct-OCGA-OCGA 16-11-39
