On December 24 2025, at approximately 16:10hrs, I was working in full uniform, driving a fully marked patrol vehicle within the county of Carroll. I was identified to Carroll County E911 as “9029”. I was dispatched to [1000 BLOCK] Mclendon Cir, Carrollton Ga 30117 in regards to a domestic in progress.

Upon deputies arrival shouting could be heard from the front door as commands were given a male and female could be heard from the other side of the door physically struggling, but would soon comply with orders given by deputies to exit the residence. The male was secured by Deputy Crutchfield #985 and identified as Daniel Williams, and the female identified as [VICTIM #1]. The female had obvious bruising to her facial region along with bruising down her arms.

The female was then pulled aside and questioned on how she obtained such injuries. [VICTIM #1] advised that Williams had come to pick her up from her job in Hiram (Piedmont Urgent Care) in her vehicle. Once he arrived Williams had continuously beat her with his fist though-out the ride as she begged him to just take her home.

[VICTIM #1] then advised as soon as they got inside their residence Williams would keep hold of her car/house key, and phone while continue hitting her until her forced her upstairs by dragging her by her wrist to their bedroom where he would attempt to suffocate her with a pillow. [VICTIM #1] was able to break free by falling to the ground and running to the bathroom.

[VICTIM #1] would then leave the bathroom after a short time and go down stairs to the living room and sit on the couch. While sitting on the couch [VICTIM #1] advised that Williams would approach her again and tell her to go upstairs. After denying his request Williams would pull a steak knife (Described as having a wooden handle) and hold it above her head, but would then put the blade to her throat while making the statement “Do you want to die bit*h”.

While pleading with Williams [VICTIM #1] would comply and go upstairs where she advised she was beat on through-out the night and day until she was able to sneak her phone to text for help. [VICTIM #1] did also advise that through-out the entire incident Williams would refuse to let her leave or call out to emergency aid.

After speaking with [VICTIM #1] I read Miranda Rights Warning to Williams were he had agreed to speak with me in regards to the incident. Williams advised that [VICTIM #1] was just simply crazy and had obtained all injuries by her own doings by beating her head on items in the residence, and at one point though-out the night he thought someone had knocked on the door but it was just her beating herself up.

After speaking with both parties the residence was cleared checking for other victims if any and if any signs of a crime scene existed. While inside I observed no damage to walls or furniture to validate Williams claims. The scene was photographed which all photos are uploaded to the linked files tab/other images tab.

[VICTIM #1] was transported to Tanner Carrollton by West Ga Ambulance. Williams was arrested and booked into the Carroll County Jail for two counts of Aggregated Assault (F), Terroristic Threats and Acts (F), False Imprisonment (F), Battery (M), and Obstructing or Hindering with 911 call.
