On August 31, 2025, I, Officer Morris, responded to 950 Dallas Highway in reference to a black female wearing a pink shirt and shorts causing a disturbance over the price of hair gel. Upon arrival, I made contact with a female matching the description near the hair product aisle. The female was later identified as Edeith Wilson. Wilson explained she was upset because the prices on the hair product she picked up had a discrepancy.

Wilson stated one of the products was listed for $5.35 and the other was listed at $5.85. Upon observing the products, I noticed they were both the more expensive of two. I attempted to explain to Wilson why the price was different. Wilson interrupted me and told me there was no way to explain anything to her because she is a black woman.

I made contact with Dollar General Staff. They advised they would like Wilson Criminally trespassed from the property. Wilson collected her items and exited the store. Upon Wilson exiting the store I attempted to collect her identification for the Criminal Trespass notice. Wilson refused to identify herself. I conducted a GCIC inquiry the vehicle she was driving in attempt to Identify her. Wilson was the registered owner. The GCIC inquiry indicated the vehicle to have suspended registration.

Wilson was informed not to drive the vehicle on a public roadway with suspended registration because she could be stopped and cited for the infraction. Wilson denied the registration being suspended and I left the scene.

Upon leaving the Dollar General I observed a vehicle at the entrance to Dollar General with a male and female attempting to change the tire. I stopped and offered assistance to them, however, they denied needing any. As I approached my patrol vehicle, I observed the white 2016 Maserati Wilson was driving to approach the exit. I observed the vehicle enter the roadway and continue south bound on Dallas Highway. The vehicle between Wilson and me turned right onto Old Town Road. Wilson continued south bound and as we approached the entrance to Happy Valley Church, I activated my emergency lights to conduct a traffic stop.

Upon making contact with Wilson, I requested her driver’s license and ordered her to exit the vehicle. Wilson advised she would not exit the vehicle. I informed Wilson that if she did not exit the vehicle, she would be removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest. Wilson eventually exited the vehicle and provided her name and date of birth. A GCIC inquiry indicated her driver’s license to be suspended for a Super Speeder citation through Haralson County (suspension date: 04/02/2024).

Upon informing her she was under arrest, Wilson tenser her body, pulled away and exclaimed “Do not touch me.” Wilson was eventually placed in handcuffs, however, would not allow me to double lock them. It should be noted, Happy Valley Church is in residential area with lots of foot traffic and housing. Wilson continued to refer to officers on scene as; crackers, bi*ches, f*ck boys as well as various other racial slurs and obscenities. Upon being placed in the rear of my Villa Rica Patrol vehicle, Wilson advised she had spinal cancer and requested EMS to be en route. Upon EMS arrival, Wilson told them she did not trust them, or anybody else and refused to cooperate.

While en route to Carroll County Jail, Wilson continued to make vague threats such as, “I got something for you.” “You will see me again.” “Your children will never eat again.” It should be noted, while en route to the jail, the racial slurs continued. Wilson was eventually taken into Carroll County Jail without further incident. Carroll County warrants for; Driving While License Suspended, Suspended Registration, Obstruction and Disorderly conduct have been completed and await a Judge’s signature.
