On 05/31/2026, at 2032 hours, [WITNESS #1] from Locomex Downtown (412 Adamson Square) called. [WITNESS #1] advised that an individual was asleep at the bar and refused to leave despite being requested to multiple times.
Upon arrival, I quickly apprehended the suspect, who was later identified as Garrett Fritz. Garrett was swaying side to side, had slurred speech, and I could smell alcohol coming from his person. Garret also busted a glass beer bottle on the front patio of Locomex. Ofc. Carroll asked Garret if he was asked to leave by the staff and he said yes.
I placed Garret in the back of my marked patrol car and transported him to the Carroll County Jail.
I observed on CCTV that Garrett being escorted out multiple times, but he kept going back in each time. As Garrett got up from his chair, he stumbled and almost fell. Garrett tried to pick up his beer bottle multiple times, and it kept slipping out of his hand. The beer bottle hit the ground and shattered everywhere, creating a hazard for people walking in and out of Locomex.
Garret was charged with disorderly conduct (public drunk) C66-7(A)(21).
