On 02/15/2026 at approximately 2021 hours, I responded to [100 BLOCK] Kay Lane in reference to a domestic dispute. Dispatch advised that a third party had overheard a father and son yelling at each other, and the son reportedly told the father to kill him.
Upon arriving at Kay Lane, I witnessed a young male walking up the road without a shirt, later identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. It should be noted that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had visible markings on his neck, chest, arms, and side of his face from an altercation. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that George Walker had tried to pick up a knife, and that’s when he had run out of the house. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if he had hit him in the face. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that his mom, later identified as [WITNESS #1], had tried to break up [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and George, but George had jumped over his mom, and that’s when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] tried to swing at him, but that was after George had already hit [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the face. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then said that George grabbed him and took him to the floor, and started choking him out.
It should be noted that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had shown that George had 2 hands around his neck and was banging his head on the ground. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that George had started biting him on the face on his left cheek. It should be noted that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had already shown that his markings on his face were discolored and swollen. Ofc. Osbourne then put [REDACTED BY AGENCY] into the back of his patrol vehicle so we could go to the address [100 BLOCK] Kay Lane.
Once at [100 BLOCK] Kay Lane, [WITNESS #1] met us in the driveway and asked where her son was. I asked [WITNESS #1] where her husband was, and she stated he was inside the home. I proceeded to the front door and asked George to step outside with Ofc. Osbourne to speak with him. I remained inside the residence with [WITNESS #1] and asked her what had happened tonight. [WITNESS #1] explained that she and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had gotten into an argument and that she was not going to allow [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to speak to George in a disrespectful manner. [WITNESS #1] admitted to throwing a bowl at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] door.
When I asked how [REDACTED BY AGENCY] got the marks on his body, [WITNESS #1] stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had hit George in the face and knocked his glasses off, and that George had grabbed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and taken him to the ground. [WITNESS #1] said that must be how [REDACTED BY AGENCY] sustained the marks on his face and body. [WITNESS #1] emphasized she would not tolerate disrespect in her home. She said she told both [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and George to come back inside, and noted that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had been cursing at George. [WITNESS #1] also mentioned that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] shirt had ripped and that he had finished taking it off.
I went outside to talk with George. I asked George what was going on tonight. George said that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [WITNESS #1] just got into an argument. I asked George how [REDACTED BY AGENCY] got the marks on him, and George seemed surprised that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had them. George asked where he got them, and I told him I was asking him how he got them. George said he had no idea how he got the marks. Based on George’s body language, he was very standoffish and did not want to answer any of my questions. As I continued to question George, I could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. I asked George how many drinks he had, and he said that he only had one. I asked George if [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had slapped his glasses off his face, and he said that he had at some point. I asked George if he retaliated, and he just laughed it off and said that he couldn’t catch him. I asked George to explain how [REDACTED BY AGENCY] got the markings all over his body, and George said it must have been from the bowl that was thrown at him. I asked George what really happened, and he said that was all he was going to say.
I went back to Ofc. Osbourne’s car to talk with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to be honest and tell me everything that happened. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said it started with an argument between him and his mom. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he was trying to go to a girl’s house, and his mom told him to ask George for permission. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said he went to his room, and both his mom and George entered. He heard George say he would beat him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stayed in his room but later went to the kitchen for a drink, where George was present. George tried to talk with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] but [REDACTED BY AGENCY] wasn’t responding, and George asked if [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had heard him, then pushed him. George pushed him again, prompting [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to swing at George. The confrontation moved outside, where his mom tried to intervene, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] slapped George’s glasses because George kept approaching him. George went back inside and called [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in, but [REDACTED BY AGENCY] remained outside, refusing to re-enter.
Eventually, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] went back inside, where George pushed his mom to the ground, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] swung at George again. George then grabbed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] took him to the ground, and put him in a choke hold. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said his mom was trying to get George off him, and George bit [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on the face, grabbed his head, and banged it on the ground. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said he gave up and was lying there when George repeatedly said, “No, no, I’m going to kill you.” [REDACTED BY AGENCY] left the room to get some clothing, and as he was walking into the house, he saw George coming out of the kitchen with a knife. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] left the house and walked up the road.
When asked if he feared for his life, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said yes, stating that George was choking him and threatening to kill him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also said that while in the choke hold, he could not breathe. Again, I observed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] neck area and could see fresh red marks around his neck. The marks appeared to be consistent with that of someone being choked out or strangled.
After questioning all parties involved and receiving a witness statement from the officers, I placed George under arrest. I ordered George to place his hands behind his back and placed him into handcuffs, double-locked, checked fit, and placed him into the back of my patrol vehicle. I transported George to the Carroll County Jail, where he was charged and booked for the following.
Aggravated Assault (Strangulation) (FV) 16-5-21
Battery (FV) 16-5-23.1
Based on the evidence, statements, and severity of the incident, this falls under the Georgia Family Violence Act. This is due to George being [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stepfather and to their residing in the same household.
