On December 5th at approximately 2021hrs I, Deputy Finley responded to [100 BLOCK] North Villa Road in reference to a possible dispute in progress. At the time the call came out I was on South Villa Road looking for Jonathon Glass who was reported as walking on North Van Wert Road, naked covered in a sheet. While driving down North Van Wert road I did not see Jonathon walking naked down the road so I relocated to South Villa Road which is the address on Jonathon’s driver’s license.
While I was driving down South Villa I had negative contact with Jonathon. At the time the dispute in progress call came out I, along with Cpl. Brynildsen were driving to North Villa from South Villa we made contact with Jonathon who had walked out from the woods with [VICTIM #1]. On initial contact with Jonathon he was in a highly agitated state, belligerent in speech, and being aggressive towards [VICTIM #1]. Jonathon stated that he was drunk on “Jack and tequila”, and had been drinking all day. Jonathon also stated that he was walking down North Van Wert naked because his “girl had took all his clothes ” after an argument earlier in the day. Jonathon said that his friend had given him some pants and boots to wear to walk home in. Jonathon repeated to me multiple times that he was drunk, as well as having the smell of alcoholic beverage on his breath secondary to drinking all day long.
At that time Jonathon was detained in order to investigate the details of the dispute that was reported. While I was speaking with [VICTIM #1] Jonathon continued yelling obscenities at [VICTIM #1], was aggressive with his speech towards [VICTIM #1], and was aggressive with his behavior.
[VICTIM #1] stated that him and Jonathon had ran into each other in the woods and it was at that time an argument ensued which resulted in [VICTIM #1] being struck in the face by Jonathon. [VICTIM #1] refused to take any legal action against Jonathon. After speaking with [VICTIM #1] I walked over to speak with Jonathon, who at this time had become more agitated and belligerent. At this time Jonathon was placed under arrest. Jonathon was handcuffed behind his back with both cuffs being checked for fit and double locked. Jonathon was then placed in the back of my patrol car for transport to Carroll County Jail.
While Jonathon was being placed in the back of my patrol car he became irate in behavior yelling obscenities. After being placed in the back of my patrol car Jonathon began slamming his head into the partition as well as kicking my patrol car door. While Jonathon was being transported to the jail he was aggressive and belligerent of speech for the entirety of the trip. Upon arrival to the Jail Jonathon was removed from the back of my patrol car and at that time he became non-compliant with verbal commands and was assisted into the booking area. After Jonathon was placed in the booking area he was non-compliant with Jail staff refusing commands.
Jonathon was charged with O.C.G.A 16-11-39 Disorderly Conduct and O.C.G.A 16-11-41 Public Drunk.
