On 1-19-2026 at approx. 9:36 am I was, dispatched to an unknown trouble call at [200 BLOCK] Villa Rosa Rd. Dispatch advised a female dialed 911 from a 911 only phone and said “send the cops.”

Upon my arrival I made contact with the caller, [VICTIM #1], who stated her husband, Lionel Bogle, was inside destroying things in the house. She said he had broken her phone and she thinks her toe is broken. Their 13 year old daughter, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [REDACTED], was also outside who said he hit her in the face, and she had a small mark underneath her right eye.

Ofc. Buice and I entered the residence to find a lamp knocked over in the living room. We heard a man yelling from inside one of the bedrooms. I attempted to enter but the door was blocked. I pushed open the door and found Lionel inside, yelling at their other children. The bed had been turned over in front of the door.

I escorted all of the children out of the room, then ordered Lionel to come out into the living room. He refused to comply initially. Ofc. Buice drew his taser and I told him that he would be tased if he did not comply. He continued yelling, but shortly after complied. I detained him at this time.

I handcuffed Mr. Bogle and patted him down for weapons, finding none. I ensured the handcuffs were applied to the proper fit, and double locked. I had Lionel sit down on the couch while I returned to [VICTIM #1] and the rest of the other children.

[VICTIM #1] said Lionel had been upset since early this morning. He was yelling at her and their children. She said they continued arguing, then he grabbed her phone and broke it against the bathroom wall. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me she was standing nearby when he slammed the phone against the wall and a piece of the phone broke off and struck her in the face.

Their 11 year old daughter [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [REDACTED], said she was accidentally struck by his elbow, but she was not injured. None of the Other children were injured. [VICTIM #1] suspected she may have a broken toe from the struggle. Fire and EMS came and checked [VICTIM #1] and the children. They refused transport at this time.

[VICTIM #1] said after he broke the phone she grabbed a kitchen knife due to the way Lionel was acting. She began to go back into the bedroom because the other children were in there, but she then walked outside and called the police.

I then returned to Lionel. I read him his Miranda Rights prior to asking him any questions. He agreed to speak with me without a lawyer present. He told me [VICTIM #1] had accused him of cheating on her. She began packing her belongings, then he admitted to breaking her phone because he did not want her to leave. He also said [VICTIM #1] came at him with a knife. He said he flipped the bed over and bent a piece of metal to defend himself, which is when I arrived.

I examined the phone which was lying on the bathroom floor. I took photographs of the phone, the bedroom, where [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said he slammed the phone against the wall, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] facial injury, and a few other photographs which were added to the AXON Evidence Database.

Based on the physical and testimonial evidence, I arrested Lionel Bogle for Cruelty to Children 2nd degree and Criminal Damage to Property 2nd degree. I turned custody of Lionel over to Ofc. Buice for transport. I obtained State Warrants for both charges. Warrant numbers 26EW-4913 and 26EW-4914.
