On the above date at approximately 0900 hours, I was dispatched to 715 Dixie Street in reference to a stalking complaint.

Upon arrival, I made contact with my complainant, [VICTIM #1] {DOB: [REDACTED]} who stated her current husband, Lucas Atcheson {DOB: [REDACTED]} (currently going through divorce process) has been stalking her and tracking her location. I asked [VICTIM #1] what made her suspect that Lucas was stalking her. [VICTIM #1] advised she has been receiving text messages from Lucas stating he knew where she was and who she was with. [VICTIM #1] advised Lucas has been messaging her after she had spent time with her current boyfriend stating he did not want that man near their daughter.

[VICTIM #1] advised Lucas has been showing up to her job and coming to the office she works in. I asked [VICTIM #1] if Lucas has well reasoning for visiting her place of work. [VICTIM #1] advised her and Lucas do have two children together in which Lucas has custody of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [VICTIM #1] has custody of [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [VICTIM #1] advised neither child comes with her to work and has the ability to call her if there is an emergency so Lucas has no reason to come to her job directly. I asked [VICTIM #1] if her and Lucas share locations through their phones and she stated they do not. [VICTIM #1] stated she believes Lucas could have placed a tracker on or in her car.

It should be noted that [VICTIM #1] stated Lucas threatened to send explicit nude pictures of her out to people if she did not leave her boyfriend.

After gathering information from [VICTIM #1], we relocated outside where we met with Tanner valet parking to access her vehicle. A valet parking employee retrieved [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle in which, Officer Bone and myself searched the interior and exterior of the vehicle with [VICTIM #1]’s permission. While conducting the search, Officer Bone found what is suspected to be a Black “Tracki” GPS tracker located under the trunk of the vehicle. Images of the device placement on the vehicle were captured and uploaded to linked files tab. Tracker ID: [REDACTED] IMEI: [REDACTED]

After the device was found, a valet parking employee later identified as [WITNESS #1] [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated a white male wearing a blue head wrap and a neon construction vest came to the valet desk asking about [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle and their daughter. [WITNESS #1] stated this male asked her not to tell [VICTIM #1] that the came and asked about her vehicle. [WITNESS #1] stated while she was parking another vehicle, she saw this male in the parking lot looking for [VICTIM #1] vehicle. While gathering [WITNESS #1]’s information, she advised the white male wearing a blue head wrap and a neon construction vest was peeking around the corner of the building in a conspicuous manner.

Officer Bone and I relocated to the area of which she saw this male and asked multiple employees if they saw this male or knew a male named Lucas Atcheson. Multiple employees stated Lucus was working a job with them at that location and that Lucas was wearing a blue head wrap and a neon construction vest.

I made contact with Lucas and asked him if he knew why I was here. Lucas stated he had an idea of what the situation was but immediately denied doing anything prior to me asking him any other questions. I asked Lucas if he placed a tracker on [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle, in which he denied that he did. Lucas stated he hasn’t had contact with [VICTIM #1] since Sunday. I asked Lucas why [VICTIM #1] has text messages from him if he supposedly hasn’t had contact with her. Lucas then stated he has been texting her phone.

I then asked Lucas how he knew where [VICTIM #1] has been if he did not place the tracker. Lucas stated to both myself and Officer Bone that he placed [VICTIM #1]’s phone number in google program and paid for a trial to get access to [VICTIM #1]’s location. Lucas stated he began tracking [VICTIM #1] because he did not want her new boyfriend anywhere near their daughter

Given this information, I placed Lucas in handcuffs to the rear. I checked the handcuffs for proper fit, double locked them and placed Lucas in the rear of my vehicle. I read Lucas his Miranda Rights due to him wanting to talk in the rear of my patrol vehicle on the way to the jail. I transported Lucas to Carroll County jail.

I relocated to the PD to drop evidence. Lucas’ phone was placed into evidence locker E4 and the suspected tracker was placed into evidence locker 019. The phone and tracker were located by Officer Bone.

Pictures of the messages between [VICTIM #1] and Lucas will be attached to the linked files tab along with the placement of the tracking device on the car, and a picture of Lucas.

This case falls under a violation of the Family Violence Act due to [VICTIM #1] and Lucas being married, having children together and due to the charges being stalking and felony.

Warrants have been typed in Anywhere Warrant (Case # 25092945 & 25092945A) and need to he signed.
