On 4-4-2021 at approximately 11:58, I (Sergeant Williams) was dispatched to [600 BLOCK] Amberwood Drive in reference to a fight, already occurred. Dispatch advised a female who lived at that residence had been “jumped” by two subjects.
Upon my arrival, I observed [VICTIM #1] sitting on the front porch of the residence. Her juvenile son, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], was standing on the porch with her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] appeared nervous, as he was looking around the neighborhood, fidgeting, and his eyes were wide. Neither [VICTIM #1] nor [REDACTED BY AGENCY] appeared to have any injuries. I asked [VICTIM #1] to tell me what had occurred.
[VICTIM #1] stated her daughter, [VICTIM #2], had been having problems with some other females in the neighborhood. [VICTIM #2] had gotten a text earlier in the day, in which the females told her they wanted to fight her. [VICTIM #1] advised [VICTIM #2] had walked to the driveway at about 11:30 to retrieve something from her vehicle, and apparently the two females in question drove by and saw her outside. [VICTIM #1] advised the two females, identified only as LeMeika and Felicity, stopped their vehicle in front of the residence, came onto the driveway and “jumped” [VICTIM #2].
[VICTIM #1] advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] witnessed the altercation, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] began calling for her. When [VICTIM #1] got outside, she observed [VICTIM #2] was already getting up off the ground and walking toward the house. The two females were back in their vehicle, leaving the residence. [VICTIM #1] stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was outside, and she observed two male subjects parked several houses south of her residence (possibly driving a Jeep or other SUV). [VICTIM #1] advised the males (one of whom she could only identify as “Turk”) were yelling at her son. She stated Turk told [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that “he’s gonna get him and fu*k him up.”
[VICTIM #1] sent [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to find [VICTIM #2], who was inside the residence. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised [VICTIM #2] had gotten into the shower and she was not going to come outside. [VICTIM #1] advised [VICTIM #2] did not want to report or press charges for her part of the incident. [VICTIM #2] ask [VICTIM #1], prior to my arrival, why [VICTIM #1] was calling the police. I advised [VICTIM #1] if [VICTIM #2] changed her mind, she could contact police for a follow up.
I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] what had occurred. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised he looked out his upstairs bedroom window (which looks out to the driveway) and saw two (2) females attacking his sister. He yelled for his mother, to let her know what was happening. After telling his mother, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] went outside and told the females not to attack his sister. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised he heard a male yelling at him; when he looked down the street, he observed an SUV parked in the street, several houses south. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised both males were yelling at him, but he could only hear the male he identified as “Turk.” Turk was standing outside the SUV, and Turk was holding a firearm (unknown make, model, color, or style) in his hand, down by his side. Turk told [REDACTED BY AGENCY], “I’m going to get you.” Turk also told him not to approach the females. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was afraid, and he went back inside the residence with his mother and sister.
[VICTIM #1] advised she was unsure exactly where suspects lived, but she knew it was toward the cul-de-sac on Amberwood Drive (potentially [600 BLOCK] Amberwood Drive). [VICTIM #1] provided a written statement; she advised, due to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] learning disability, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] would not be able to write a statement. [VICTIM #1] further advised the incident [VICTIM #2] had with the females stemmed from issues with Marquis McFall. She advised all the suspects were members of the street gang, “THE REAL ONES.” [VICTIM #1] advised she knew she could not force her daughter to prosecute, but she did want a report on the incident with her son. She wanted to prosecute the two males who threatened [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
I patrolled the neighborhood, and I advised [VICTIM #1] the neighborhood would be patrolled by other officers. I advised [VICTIM #1] a report would be completed on the incident and turned over to investigations. I advised [VICTIM #1] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to contact police if they have any further issues.
