On 2/17/2026 at 23:23 hours, I was dispatched to 210 Adamson Square (Irish Bread Pub) in reference to a dispute in progress, with a black male wearing tan sweatpants and a white tank top threatening to shoot up the business while in an intoxicated state. Upon arrival, Travaughn McDaniel (offender/arrested) had already been detained.
I then spoke with [VICTIM #1] (complainant/witness), who works for the Irish Bread Pub, who stated that Travaughn had started a verbal dispute over a bar tab, and that he had threatened to beat him up after paying off his tab. Further, [WITNESS #1] (witness) stated that he was intoxicated and was causing a scene within the business by arguing with Irish Bread Pub staff. Responding officers later advised me that another witness stated that Travaughn had been loud and argumentative with his girlfriend prior to the verbal dispute between him and the bouncer.
When speaking with Travaughn, I noticed the odor of alcohol coming off his breath, and he told me that there was only an argument over a bar tab, which he had paid. Travaughn never admitted to threatening to shoot up the business.
Travaughn was placed in the back of my patrol vehicle where he was transported to Carroll County Jail.
