On March 31, 2026, at 12:00 hours, I was dispatched to 780 Bankhead Hwy, room [REDACTED] (Efficiency Lodge) in reference to Trevor Harris harassing [VICTIM #1].
Upon arrival, I made contact with Trevor outside room [REDACTED]. Trevor was visibly intoxicated and admitted he had already drunk four 16oz malt liquor cans. At this time, Cpl. Moore arrived on scene and made contact with [VICTIM #1] on the lower level of the complex. While waiting with Trevor, he stated approximately three times that he was going to jail, but could not tell me what he had done wrong. Trevor said the only thing he did was knock on [VICTIM #1]’s door, and she let him use the bathroom. Trevor admitted he was in a sexual relationship with [VICTIM #1], and he had spent the night with her two days prior.
After Cpl. Moore finished speaking with [VICTIM #1] and obtained video footage of the incident [VICTIM #1] called about from building management relocated to my position outside of room [REDACTED]. Cpl. Moore advised that Trevor committed sexual battery against [VICTIM #1], and the incident was captured on video.
Trevor was then stood up and placed into handcuffs to the rear. Trevor was passively resisting being placed in handcuffs, but eventually they were secured and double locked. Trevor was escorted to the rear of the complex towards my patrol vehicle. While being escorted Trevor continuously tried to stop walking and turn around to argue with [VICTIM #1]. Cpl. Moore and I had to physically move Trevor until we made it to my patrol vehicle. Trevor was placed in the rear passenger seat, but refused to let me secure him in a seatbelt.
In the video provided by building management, you can see Trevor make unwanted physical contact with [VICTIM #1]’s buttocks using his hand. [VICTIM #1] is seen on video after the contact waving her hand at Trevor like she is trying to push him away.
While I transported Trevor to the Carroll County Jail, another officer on scene obtained the security footage from the building manager.
Trevor was charged with misdemeanor sexual battery as [VICTIM #1] wished to prosecute. A warrant was typed and awaiting signature by a judge.
Trevor was also served a criminal trespass notice from the Efficiency Lodge.
