On December 27, 2025, at approximately 2240, I responded to the area of Adamson Square near LocoMex in reference to an active fight in progress between multiple individuals.
Upon arrival, I noticed a black male subject taking off his shirt, and I heard him yelling profanities very loudly at a large group of people. The male subject then raised his fists and began quickly approaching the crowd like he was about to start throwing punches at people in the crowd. In order to prevent a physical altercation and stop the male subject from possibly hurting one of the people in the crowd, I exited my patrol vehicle and ordered the male subject to get on the ground. At this point, the male subject refused to get on the ground and turned to me, raising his fists into a boxing stance and quickly approaching me.
During this time, I continued to order the male subject to get on the ground, and he refused to and continued to approach me. At this time, I feared that the male subject was going to try to punch me in the face and cause me physical harm as he still was approaching me with his hands raised in a boxing stance and was asking me if I “want some”.
I informed the male subject that if he didn’t get on the ground, I was going to tase him. The male subject continued to approach me in an aggressive fashion, and so I deployed my Taser 7 (X40019M93). The probes of my Taser 7 struck him in his left abdominal area and in his left thigh. This Taser deployment was effective, and I was able to get on the male subject’s back and place him into handcuffs without further incident.
I informed the male subject that he was under arrest. The male subject was conscious and breathing; however, he was not responding to me when I attempted to ask him questions. Due to this, we kept the male subject in an upright seated position until the EMS arrived on the scene and checked him out.
While waiting for the ambulance service to arrive, I removed the Taser probes from the male subject. I looked in the male subject’s wallet and was able to identify him as Xavier Hudson from his Georgia driver’s License. The ambulance service and fire department arrived and attempted to check Xavier’s vitals.
During this time, Xavier began loudly yelling vulgar and profane language in front of a large group of people in Adamson Square. Xavier did not stop doing this event after being warned multiple times that he was being disorderly and disturbing the peace.
While being treated by the fire department, Xavier threatened physical harm to all of the first responders by stating that he was going to shoot everyone present. Xavier also repeatedly stated that he was going to physically beat up all of the first responders present. Xavier continued to threaten officers on the scene throughout this encounter, and continued to scream using vulgar and profane language.
Hudson was eventually cleared by EMS and was transported to the Carroll County Jail by Officer Kelly. During this ride to the jail, Hudson threatened to kill all of Officer Kelly’s family. Hudson stated, “Your whole family is goin to be dead, Imma kill them,” and this statement was recorded on Officer Kelly’s rear cabin camera.
