On 09-13-2024 Cpl Bradshaw responded to the incident location in reference to a domestic dispute.

Upon Cpl Bradshaw’s arrival he met with the offender who was on the back porch of the residence. The offender was heavily intoxicated and not really making sense while talking. Cpl Bradshaw spoke with the victim who stated the offender who is her granddaughter became violent with her and assaulted her. The victim stated the offender had been drinking and became angry and started yelling at her. She stated the offender then came at her scratching her on the right wrist and struck her with her hand busting her lip. She stated she was trying to fight the offender off of her and the offender grabbed her by the throat and pushed her up against a wall. The victim stated she was having trouble breathing while this was happening. The victim stated the offender finally stopped and went outside and the victim called 911. While the assault was happening the witness [REDACTED] was present and observed the incident happening. The victim had blood on her right wrist and blood around her lip.

The offender was handcuffed behind the back, cuffs checked for fit, and double locked and the offender was searched for weapons and contraband with none being found. The offender was placed in the rear seat of the patrol vehicle and seat belted in. The offender was transported to the jail without incident and turned over to the jail staff. The rear seat was checked for contraband before and after transport and nothing was located.
