[NARRATIVE #1 on May 22, 2025]

On Thursday, May 22, 2025 Corporal Cheramie received a conference call from the listed complainant in reference to allegations of child abuse occurring in Catoosa County. The complainant advised that her and the suspect are divorced and that the suspect has primary custody of their twin daughters [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2]. She stated that she currently resides in Dade County and the children are currently with her at this time for visitation.

The allegations came from her children while they are visiting with the complainant at her residence. She says that the children told her that they were outside riding bikes at [100 BLOCK] Victor Lane, Ringgold, Ga last week when the suspect grabbed them by the throat and tossed them by their throat. She also mentioned that this was witnessed by the neighbors child [WITNESS #1] who possibly lives at [100 BLOCK] or [100 BLOCK] Victor Lane.

Corporal Cheramie advised on-call Detective Rogers of the incident and he advised that he would contact DFACs and further investigate. Footage of this incident was not recorded on body worn camera. The phone call was on a recorded line through dispatch.

[NARRATIVE #2 on May 22, 2025]

On Thursday May 22, 2025 at approximately 18:45, Detective Rogers was contacted by Corporal Cheramie in reference to possible child abuse. Detective Rogers was advised that approximately a week ago, the two juvenile victims were grabbed by the throat by the suspect, the victim’s father, and tossed. The complainant is the mother of the victim’s and currently has the juvenile victim’s in Dade County where the complainant resides until Sunday May 25th. Detective Rogers reached out to DFCS (Department Family Children Services) supervisor [REDACTED], advising DFCS of the incident and circumstances and to see if DFCS wanted to notify anyone with DFCS for Dade County or if [REDACTED] wanted to give Detective Rogers a contact number. Detective Rogers was advised by [REDACTED] that since the juveniles were safe with the complainant until Sunday May 25th to have the victim call the intake call center.

Detective Rogers called and spoke with the complainant who advised the suspect had been physical for years with both the juvenile victims listed as well as other children. The complainant also mentioned the suspect was abusive with the complainant when they were married. The complainant advised no police reports had ever been made in the past. The complainant said the victims do not have any bruises are marks from the latest incident, but have had bruises/marks in the past. The complainant advised of having an older daughter at Ringgold High School and that juvenile reached out to the SRO and a counselor earlier this school year about abusive things happening with the suspect. The complainant stated to the complainants knowledge, nothing was ever done and the complainant never heard anything from anyone about it other than the juvenile telling the complainant about talking to a counselor/SRO.

The complainant was asked by Detective Rogers why no reports had ever been made. The complainant stated the complainant did know until now, the complainant advised the attorney during divorce hearings and nothing was done or even brought up in court, and the complainant stated an older daughter talked to the SRO and counselor as Ringgold High earlier this year, but nothing happened.

Detective Rogers advised the complainant of DFCS advising to call the central intake line and Detective Rogers also advised the complainant to attempt to contact a lawyer in an attempt to see if the complainant could obtain court ordered temporary emergency custody.

Detective Rogers will reach out to Holly with the CAC (Children’s Advocacy Center) on Friday, May 23rd and attempt to schedule an interview with the CAC, however depending on custody issues, if the suspect obtains the juveniles back over the weekend it could delay the process.

[NARRATIVE #3 on May 25, 2025]

On Sunday May 25, 2025 at approximately 13:56, Detective Rogers and Deputy Walker made contact with the offender at [100 BLOCK] Victor Lane Ringgold Georgia. The offender was handcuffed with the offender’s hands in front due to medical conditions. The handcuffs were checked for proper fit and double locked. The offender was searched by Deputy Walker for weapons/contraband with none found. The offender was placed in the right rear passenger seat of Deputy Walker’s patrol car and seat belted. The offender was transported to the Sheriff’s office and agreed to speak with Detective Rogers. After speaking with Detective Rogers, the offender was escorted to the booking area of the detention center and turned over to detention staff. Deputy Walker searched the rear passenger area of his patrol car prior to and after transport for contraband with none found. Detective Rogers will be seeking state warrants.
