On 10/3/2025 at approximately 0151 hours, Deputy Stooksbury responded to the Circle K gas station at Graysville Road in reference to a criminal trespass call.
Upon arrival, Deputy Stooksbury made contact with the offender. Earlier this night, Lt. Bradshaw, Cpl. Davis, and Deputy Stooksbury dealt with the offender several times at the Sheriff’s Office. While dealing with the offender, he appeared to have mental health issues. The offender told deputies several times how dangerous he is if anybody tried to mess with him. The offender also tried to get in Lt. Bradshaw and Deputy Stooksbury’s vehicles without consent and was told no both times. The offender was released from custody on 10/2/2025.
The offender does not have a residence in the county and walked to the Circle K. Both witnesses, who were at the gas station together, stated that the offender was at the gas station asking people who came in to buy things for him. The witnesses stated that the offender began speaking with a man that was driving a white Ford Ranger and the man bought some items for the offender. The witnesses stated that the offender then followed the man who drove the truck to the truck and got inside with his items and told the man that the man had to take him to the “federal building” because the offender claims he is a US Marshall. Witnesses stated that the man told the offender he was not giving him a ride and to get out of his truck. The witnesses then stated that the offender said “I’m going to bash your fu*king head in.” and then proceeded to go back in the store. When the offender went into the store, the man removed the offender’s property from his vehicle and left the scene at this time. Deputies were unable to identify the man that the statements were said to.
Deputy Stooksbury asked the offender what happened with the man in the truck and the offender said he did not remember.
While speaking with the original complainant (who is the store clerk), he told Deputy Stooksbury that the offender walked in the store, set money on the counter, and stared at the complainant for 20 minutes and would not speak to him, but he had been bothering customers.
State warrants have been requested for the offender at this time.
[End of Narrative]
