On 12/24/2025 at 1740, I was dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Collision at Pooler Parkway and Galloway Drive. See accident report 251224044,
It was reported in the CAD notes that the white Camaro involved had taken off back north on Pooler Parkway. A witness [WITNESS #1] was following the vehicle and attempting to update on their location. The Camaro driven by Alexander Ambrocio-Vincente was stopped at [100 BLOCK] Brooklyn Way by [WITNESS #1] and contact was made by other officers.
[WITNESS #1] advised that the Camaro ran a red light and then struck the other vehicle while it was making a left turn onto Pooler Parkway from Memorial Blvd. The Camaro then peeled out, after going around the vehicle that was struck, and took off back in the direction they came from.
Alexander advised that he left the scene due to his vehicle being in the roadway after the impact. Alexander also did not have a license and had only a passport from Guatemala.
Alexander was placed in handcuffs, checked for fit, and double locked. He was searched incident to arrest before being placed in the rear seat of my patrol vehicle.
SAPP’s was called to tow his vehicle.
Alexander was then transported to Memorial Hospital E.R. due to his involvement in a vehicle collision. He was then transported to the CCDC where he was transferred to staff without incident.
Alexander was provided a court date of 1000 am on March 5th, 2026, at the Pooler Municipal Court. He was provided a bond of 2000 dollars.
