On March 31st, 2026, I responded to a reported trespassing incident at the location of 1611 Habersham Street. Upon arriving, I saw a duplicate call input into call notes with an update stating the female was now assaulting people inside the business.
Upon entering, I observed a clearly intoxicated female on the right side of the bar who was screaming and yelling at people. I also noticed she had a small amount of blood underneath her nose. In order to gain information regarding the incident, I asked the female to step outside that way I could speak with her. She refused and continuously backed away from me anytime I moved forward.
The unknown female was adamant about retrieving her shoes that were on the floor. In an attempt to gain compliance, I told the female (later identified as AMBER WILSON ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]/1993), to put her shoes on and to walk outside. She eventually complied.
During my conversation, Ms. Wilson was clearly intoxicated, slurring her words, and was unable to answer my questions with straight answers. She claimed she was jumped by the staff, after eating and drinking some alcoholic drinks at the bar. I had her stand with another officer who arrived on scene shortly after. She also advised that the business wanted her to close her tab and pay, but she was under the impression that another male she was with said he was paying for her on his tab. This was later refuted by the manager saying that her tab was not paid, but ultimately was closed out even though she did not give payment.
I spoke with the staff and one of the victims of the battery, who was identified as [VICTIM #1] ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]/2004). Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated she recorded the incident due to the female refusing to leave or pay her tab. The video showed Ms. Wilson being disorderly at the bar, sticking her middle finger up at staff, and continously using vulgar language at the employees.
At one point, the manager was seen in frame simply asking the female to leave and the tab would be taken care of. She again refused. The next video Ms. [VICTIM #1] took, showed the female asking Ms. [VICTIM #1] for her jacket, and she responded saying it was outside. After this, Ms. Wilson was seen approaching Ms. [VICTIM #1] in an agressive manner, and putting her hands on her. The video then became shaky, but was able to see that the altercation was now physical with Ms. Wilson clearly being the aggressor.
Witness [WITNESS #1] ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]/2004) stated he saw Ms. Wilson approach Ms. [VICTIM #1] and then pulled on her hair which started the incident.
Another victim and witness, [VICTIM #2] ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]/2005) stated she also saw the altercation start after the intoxicated female began pulling Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s hair.
Both Ms. [VICTIM #1] and Ms. [VICTIM #2] had visible bruising and marks on their neck. Videos of the altercation taken by Ms. [VICTIM #1] were uploaded via Evidence.com
I identified Ms. Wilson as the aggressor of the fight and placed her under arrest for the following charges:
Battery (O.C.G.A. (16-5-23.1) – For assaulting both Ms. [VICTIM #1] and Ms. [VICTIM #2], leaving visible marks.
Public Drunkeness (O.C.G.A. (16-11-41) – For using vulgar and profane language in public, causing a disruption and ultimately inciting a physical altercation. Another count was added after Ms. Wilson stripped her clothes off inside Memorial Hospital.
Disorderly Conduct (O.C.G.A (16-11-39)) – For acting in a violent and tumultous manner causing staff to fear for their safety. Another count was added after Ms. Wilson was cursing and calling staff at Memorial Medical Center, “b*tches”.
Battery on LEO (O.G.C.A (16-5-23)) – For kicking Ofc. Aleksiewicz inside Memorial Hospital.
Obstruction (O.C.G.A (16-10-24)) – For ignoring verbal commands from law enforcement to stay seated inside the hospital, as well as planting her foot and straightening her leg out to prevent us from placing her in the back of my patrol vehicle.
Sexual Battery (O.C.G.A. (16-6-22.1) – For grabbing an officers genital area inside CCDC.
Ms. Wilson was transported back to Memorial Medical Center due to being in a physical altercation (per SPD policy). Throughout the first trip to MMC, Ms. Wilson was disorderly inside of the waiting area, causing a disruption so loud, staff asked that she be placed in the “decon” room so that they could focus on other patients. Also while inside the waiting area, she ignored lawful commands to stay seated in the chair, and also stripped off her pants in front of what I believed to be around 15 people including staff and other officers.
Also while awaiting medical clearance, she kicked an officer. She was subsequently transported back to CCDC after refusing care at Memorial. Ms. Wilson went limp as the backup officer was getting control of Ms. Wilson in the sallyport at CCDC. She was subsequently forced into the initial room to await being searched by CCDC intake officers. She began walking around the room, ignoring Ofc. Aleksiewicz commands, and was subsequently forced to face the wall.
Inside of this room, CCDC requires officers to have “control” of their subject. Due to already being intoxicated and unbalanced, while being pushed towards the wall, her head collided with the wall. CCDC officers observed this and stated that I needed to take her back to the hospital to get more medical clearance.
While explaining to Ms. Wilson that we now had to go back to the hospital, she said she did not want to and that she demanded to be released. Ms. Wilson again made her body go limp, and further obstructed myself and Ofc. Aleksiewicz from placing her in the vehicle. Ms. Wilson repeatedly canted her body, and also placed her foot firmly in the door hinges, to prevent from being placed into the back of my patrol vehicle. Due to this, I went over from the other back door, crawled through the back seat, and pulled her towards the other side.
We were able to shut both doors with Ms. Wilson inside. Noting that during this, she had her pair of blue hospital pants on her person. When arriving back at the hospital, Ms. Wilson was taken out of the vehicle by hospital staff and no longer had pants on again and made a claim saying that officers took her pants off.
A supervisor was also made aware of the multiple times where we had to physically force or grab Ms. Wilson during the entirety of the incident. He arrived at MMC to assist with the ongoing disorderly subject during the second visit.
After being cleared by medical staff, she was then transported and booked into CCDC without incident.
