On December 3, 2025, while on uniformed patrol in the Chatham County area, I responded to a “threat in progress” call at Riverview Health Center, located at 6711 La Roche Ave. My BWC was active. Dispatch advised that a female could be heard in the background threatening to beat the complainant, and the call taker reported hearing items crashing.

Upon arrival, I made contact with the complainant, [VICTIM #1], who stated that a former employee, identified as Angela Walker, refused to leave the facility after being asked multiple times and battered her. Angela left the scene prior to police arrival.

I requested my backup officer to remain with [VICTIM #1] to gather basic information regarding Angela. I then made contact with a witness, [VICTIM #2], who provided the following statement:

At approximately 1300 hours, [VICTIM #2] heard [VICTIM #1] state from her office, “You no longer work here and I asked you to leave!” A verbal argument followed. [VICTIM #2] walked toward the office and observed Angela inside refusing to leave. Angela stated, “I’m not leaving and I don’t give a f*ck.” Angela became angry when [VICTIM #1] attempted to call 911. Angela then pushed items off [VICTIM #1]’s desk and began throwing additional items from the desk. [VICTIM #2] stated that Angela grabbed a metal cart and threw it toward [VICTIM #1]. The cart did not strike [VICTIM #1] but hit a glass-covered painting on the wall, at about [VICTIM #1]’s head level, causing it to break.

[VICTIM #2] stated that Angela had her baby in a car seat on the floor near her feet. [VICTIM #2] moved to protect the baby and told Angela to leave. At that point, Angela turned toward [VICTIM #2] aggressively and stated, “Don’t play with me,” causing [VICTIM #2] to fear for her safety. [VICTIM #1] then approached to protect [VICTIM #2], and a physical altercation began between [VICTIM #1] and Angela. [VICTIM #2] observed Angela grab a handful of [VICTIM #1]’s hair and both fell to the ground outside the doorway while Angela maintained her grip. [VICTIM #2] did not witness the remainder of the altercation because she stayed in the office to shield the baby. The fight was stopped by other employees.

I then made contact with [VICTIM #1] for a detailed statement. [VICTIM #1] stated that Angela had been employed for less than 90 days and had been terminated earlier that morning due to unsatisfactory performance after multiple warnings. Around 1300 hours, Angela entered her office with her baby, upset about the termination and demanding further explanation.

Angela became loud and disorderly and refused multiple instructions to leave. When [VICTIM #1] attempted to call the police, Angela began pushing items off the desk and throwing items around the office. At one point, Angela threw a black basket toward [VICTIM #1], which missed but struck the glass-covered painting behind her, breaking it. Angela then grabbed [VICTIM #1]’s hair and pulled her to the ground, where she hit and kicked [VICTIM #1].

[VICTIM #1] produced a handful of loose hair from a trash can, stating it had been pulled from her head by Angela (the hair color matched [VICTIM #1]s’). I observed substantial bruising on both of [VICTIM #1]’s biceps and her right knee. [VICTIM #1]’s shirt was stretched, and her office was in disarray. Papers and miscellaneous items were scattered across the floor, a coffee mug was on the floor with coffee splashed onto the wall, and the broken glass from the painting was on the floor.

[VICTIM #1] and another employee estimated approximately $400 in damages and cleanup. Photographs of the office and [VICTIM #1]’s injuries were taken via Axon Capture and will be uploaded to Evidence.com.

[VICTIM #1] further stated that Angela said, “Imma f*ck you up and I will be catch yo a*s!” before leaving. A CRN was issued to [VICTIM #1], and she was advised on how to obtain a copy of the report.

Another witness, [WITNESS #1], was identified from a short video recorded by an employee. [WITNESS #1] stated that upon hearing the altercation, she ran over and observed Angela mounted on top of [VICTIM #1] by the hallway. When [WITNESS #1] attempted to assist, Angela got up and swung at her, missing. A physical altercation then occurred between Angela and [WITNESS #1] until other employees separated them. While speaking with [WITNESS #1], she pointed out a female walking by—later identified as [WITNESS #2]—and identified her as Angela’s sister.

I then spoke with [WITNESS #2], who stated she had no idea what occurred. [WITNESS #2] contacted Angela and learned she was currently at the Savannah Police Department filing a report. I asked [WITNESS #2] to advise Angela to remain in place, and she agreed.

I made contact with Angela in the lobby of PCT5 (2250 E Victory Dr). Angela stated that around 1155 hours she received a message from Riverview Health Center notifying her of her termination. Between 1300 and 1330 hours, she went to [VICTIM #1]’s office to ask for more explanation. Angela stated [VICTIM #1] could not provide one and told her to leave, which led to a verbal argument.

Angela claimed that as she attempted to leave, [VICTIM #1] approached her and struck her in the face, causing her glasses to fall. Angela stated a physical altercation followed and that she struck [VICTIM #1] in self-defense. She further stated that [WITNESS #1] then choked her, which led to a separate physical altercation between her and [WITNESS #1]. Angela stated the employees eventually separated them.

I did not observe any visible injuries on Angela in the areas exposed outside her clothing. She did not appear to be in pain.

Based on the physical and testimonial evidence, I determined that Angela Walker committed the following offenses: Battery, Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Trespass, and Cruelty to Children (3rd Degree). I advised Angela of the circumstances and informed her she was under arrest. Angela requested to contact her sister, later identified as [REDACTED], to pick up her child, who was with a Savannah officer in the lobby. I agreed.

After several officers, including a Savannah PD captain, assisted in gaining her compliance, Angela was placed under arrest. She was handcuffed, checked for fit, and double-locked. She was searched incident to arrest with the back of my hand and in the presence of another officer. Angela asked me to leave one of her car keys in her vehicle; I secured it and left the vehicle unlocked per her request. Her remaining personal property was secured in the rear of my patrol vehicle.

Angela was placed in the back seat with the seat belt secured, although she later unbuckled it. She made multiple statements about me “doing a bad job” and threatening to take me to court.

Angela was transported to CCDC after being medically cleared at Memorial Hospital.

The rear of my patrol vehicle was checked and cleared of contraband.

[REDACTED] arrived at PCT5 and took custody of Angela’s child, [REDACTED].

I will conduct a follow up with employees for additional video footage/ evidence.
