On December 31st, 2025 at approximately 9:25 PM, I was dispatched to [1900 BLOCK] Quincy St in reference to a ShotSpotter alert for one round. My body-worn camera was activated.
Upon arriving on scene, I was notified over the radio that officers responded to a male with a gunshot wound at the Parker’s gas station, located at 21 E Derenne Ave. It would later be determined the male was shot outside of [1900 BLOCK] Quincy St.
While canvassing, I discovered a blood trail near the front door of the home, in the driveway, and on the road in front of [1900 BLOCK] Quincy St.
I relocated to the back of the home to watch over the back door. Once it was discovered the shooting did not occur inside the home, I relocated to the front of the home and maintained crime scene security until the scene was dismantled.
[REDACTED], mother of the victim, arrived on scene to secure the home.
