[NARRATIVE #1 on November 01, 2025]
On 11/01/2025, around 1031 hours, I noticed a shooting call pop-up on my CAD. I asked dispatch if they were dispatching a shooting in Pooler. Then the alert tones were dropped and I started to the location of Arnold Street and Symmons Street. I heard Sgt. Drane stated he was in the area, then requested EMS to his location immediately.
I arrived on the scene and noticed Sgt. Drane standing beside a black female lying on her back, with several other people standing close by. Sgt. Drane stated he did not find a pulse on the female then I went to the people who were close by. A juvenile black female stated that she is her mother, so I asked what happened. She stated her mother and father were arguing. The juvenile stated that she and her mother left the house. I asked her who shot her mother and she stated Christopher Jenkins.
I relayed the suspect’s name over the radio. I then spoke to [WITNESS #1], a witness, who stated he was in his front yard when he heard yelling then shots being fired. He went to check and he noticed the female lying on the ground with a child standing near. Someone pointed toward a truck fleeing the area, so he took a short video of the vehicle leaving the area. He stated he heard the female juvenile on the phone speaking to someone when she stated, “Chris shot mamma”.
Ofc. Johnston arrived on scene and I directed him to check the area for shell casing, video cameras, and any other evidence. Officer Tirado arrived on scene and I had him walk the juvenile away from the mother and obtain her information. Crime scene tape was placed up to secure the surrounding area. I notified the on-call CID Detective, then Captain Bogden, on-call admin.
A short time later, I was notified that the suspect vehicle was seen on Highway 21 heading toward Effingham County. It was later found that the female on the ground and the juvenile lived at [100 BLOCK] Arnold Street, so the scene was expanded to secure that area also. Upon the arrival of Detective E. Smith, I relayed what information I had, and then I had Ofc. Johnston assisted him with the scene.
A short time later, I was notified that the Effingham County Sheriff had located the suspect and the vehicle. Then I was notified he was in custody. At the request of CID, I sent Ofc. Gancarcik and Ofc. McCosley to Effingham to take custody of the suspect and vehicle. I stood by and assisted CID until the scene was cleared.

In reference to CRN 251101060, the following supplemental is respectfully submitted.
On November 1, 2025, at approximately 1531 hours, I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Arnold St., Pooler, Chatham County, GA, in reference to a shooting.
I arrived on scene, and I saw a vehicle parked in the roadway near [100 BLOCK] Arnold St. I was directed to the yard of [100 BLOCK] Arnold St., where I observed a black female, later identified as Ms. [VICTIM #1], on the ground face up. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was bleeding and was not breathing. There were some bystanders trying to render first aid, and someone advised that the suspect had already fled the scene.
I notified Chatham Dispatch to send me EMS and Fire. I checked Ms. [VICTIM #1] for a pulse, but I was unable to locate one. I started to have the bystanders back away and start clearing the area. I also noticed some shotgun shells in the area of Ms. [VICTIM #1]’ body.
As other officers arrived on scene, I began to direct them to get bystanders back and began to set up a crime scene. The Pooler Fire Department arrived on scene, and I backed away to allow them to take control of the scene. A short time later, Chatham EMS arrived on scene to assist. After a time, they advised that Ms. [VICTIM #1] was deceased and ceased rendering first aid.
The Pooler Fire Department advised that there was a purse near Ms. [VICTIM #1], and I checked her purse. I was able to locate her GA driver’s license and that was used to identify her.
While this occurred, a bolo was aid for the suspect vehicle, a Ford F150, and the suspect, Mr. Christopher Jenkins. Eventually, the suspect was located in Effingham County, where he was detained by Effingham County SO. All of this information was relayed to Pooler CID who arrived on scene. The scene was turned over to them for further investigation.

On November 1, 2025, while on uniformed patrol in my marked unit, I, Officer McCosley, responded to a shooting that occurred at [100 BLOCK] Arnold Street. Upon arriving at the scene, I assisted in attempting to locate the suspect’s vehicle using cameras in the area and gathering more information about the suspect. Once the suspect’s information and vehicle description were provided to assisting units, I helped maintain the perimeter and control the crowd.
After Mr. Christopher Jenkins was taken into custody by the Georgia State Patrol and Effingham County Deputies, Officer Gancarcik and I were tasked with taking Mr. Jenkins into our custody and securing the scene at [300 BLOCK] Bunyar Kessler Road in Rincon. I arrived at the location and took custody of Mr. Jenkins, placing him in the back seat of my patrol car; however, he was later transferred to Officer Gancarcik’s vehicle for transport. I called Sapp’s Wrecker Service to stage on-site for the vehicle impound.
Once Detective R. Smith from the Pooler Police Department arrived, I assisted him with processing the scene. After obtaining signed consent from the homeowner, Ms. [WITNESS #2], we searched the area. Ms. [WITNESS #2] indicated that she had video evidence of Mr. Jenkins arriving at her residence and walking onto her back porch with an AR-style shotgun. With her consent, I assisted Ms. [WITNESS #2] in sending the videos to Detective R. Smith via email. During the search of the back porch, we were able to secure the shotgun as evidence. While documenting the crime scene log, I observed a white female sitting in a gray Ford Expedition with Georgia tag [REDACTED]. The female was identified as [WITNESS #3] and she asked me if she was free to leave. I proceeded to ask her if she was a witness to the incident when she replied that she did not witness the shooting, but was on scene after the suspect shot the victim. Ms. [WITNESS #3] stated that she observed the suspect on the corner where the shooting occurred in a white Ford F-150 before fleeing the scene. I requested her to remain on scene until verified by investigators that she could leave.
I remained on scene until I was relieved of my duties by SGT Drane at 1751.

[NARRATIVE #8 on November 01, 2025]
In regard to the above incident, the following supplemental is respectfully submitted.
On November 1, 2025, at approximately 1530 hours, I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Arnold St for reports of a shooting that had just occurred. On arrival, I immediately established a perimeter around the residence where the victim was using yellow crime scene tape. I observed a black female (later identified as [VICTIM #1]) lying face up on the grass near the residence. I then made contact with the juvenile daughter of the victim, who stated she witnessed the shooting.
The Juvenile stated her mother and father (later identified as Christopher Jenkins) were arguing at their home located at [100 BLOCK] Arnold St about a situation that occurred the night prior. The juvenile stated that, at some point during the argument, the mother told the father that he never argues when her son is around. The juvenile stated that this angered Mr. Jenkins to the point where he left the area they were in and went to another area of the home. The juvenile said she then heard what sounded like a weapon being cocked in a back room. The juvenile said that at this point, she and her mother left the home and were attempting to get an Uber.
She said at one point she and her mother attempted to drive off in the mother’s car but Mr. Jenkins broke the gea shift. The juvenile said she and her mother made it to the corner of the neighborhood while Mr. Jenkins was slow rolling behind them in a white pickup truck. The juvenile stated Mr. Jenkins exited the vehicle and said, “I’ll kill you before the police get here.”
The juvenile said Mr. Jenkins then fired what looked like a shotgun at her mother, shooting her multiple times. The juvenile said she ran to [100 BLOCK] Arnold St, where the residents came out to help. At this time, other officers arrived on scene, and I returned to [100 BLOCK] Arnold St and set a Perimeter there. A short time later, CID arrived on the scene and took control of the scene. I remained to assist in any way I could.

[NARRATIVE #9 on November 01, 2025]
On 11/1/2025 at 1531 while on uniformed patrol in a marked unit in the city of Pooler, Georgia, I, Cpl. I. Kenny, responded to a report of a shooting at [100 BLOCK] Arnold St.
When I arrived, I immediately made my way to Sgt. Huff who was on Symons St., close to the victim. I asked him what information we had at this time and he advised me that the female victim was shot by her boyfriend, and that she was more than likely deceased. At this time, it was aired through dispatch that the suspect fled in a white Ford pickup and was driving toward Interstate 95 via US Highway 80. It should be known that this meant the suspect was more than likely passing me while responding to the scene as this was the route I took from Pooler Parkway.
I met with Ofc. Gancarcik and Ofc. McCosley who were attempting to search for any form of surveillance that would have captured the truck and possibly a license plate. I advised other officers to establish a Crime Scene Log and to place more crime scene tape around [100 BLOCK] Arnold St.
Ofc. McCosley then stated that the suspect, Mr. Christopher Jenkins, had a residence of [100 BLOCK] Arnold St. However, other officers continued to air and give other addresses, one being in west Savannah, and another in Port Wentworth ([100 BLOCK] Pipemakers Circle which was given by a Chatham County Sheriff’s deputy who was in the area and responded). Ofc. McCosley stated that Mr. Jenkins has an address of [100 BLOCK] Arnold St.
Sgt Huff advised me that an argument ensued at [100 BLOCK] Arnold St. and that [100 BLOCK] Arnold St. is where the incident ended. With that being advised, I stated that [100 BLOCK] Arnold St. be cordoned off and remove everyone from that area in order for it to be processed by CID.
I ensured that Ofc. Garcia maintained an accurate crime scene log and assisted in providing security for the crime scene itself. I remained on scene in order to assist anyone needing it until I was relieved by Sgt. Huff. This concludes my involvement.
