On 12/24/25 at approximately 0500 hrs I responded to 2004 Beech St (Parkers Kitchen) in reference to a fight.
Upon arrival I observed a white male walking away east on E President St, which boarders the above address. I activated My emergency lights and quickly detained the male, who was later identified as Mr Christopher Mailler. While I was detaining him, other officers made contact with the other involved party, Mr [VICTIM #1]. Ofc Kelly reported Mr [VICTIM #1] flagged her down and showed her two closed pocket knives he had in his hands, and quickly turned them over to her.
Both parties were detained in handcuffs and placed in the back of marked patrol vehicles pending the outcome of the investigation.
I then made contact with Ms [WITNESS #1], the store manager. She stated Mr Mailler entered the store wearing a ski mask and began harassing customers. She stated one customer left. She stated Mr Mailler then brought items to the counter, but began harassing Mr [VICTIM #1], who was behind him in line with a cup of coffee to purchase. She showed me store camera footage that showed the incident. Mr [VICTIM #1] took his coffee to the second register to pay and Mailler began making hand gestures to him and showing him the contents of his wallet. [WITNESS #1] stated when he did this, Mailler called [VICTIM #1] “a broke-a*s n*gger.” The video showed [VICTIM #1] walking toward the exit door and Mailler follow him. [WITNESS #1] stated she believed she heard Mailler stated “I’ll kill you you broke-a*s n*gger.” [VICTIM #1] exited the store and Mailler followed him.
Once outside, the video showed Mailler push [VICTIM #1] from behind, causing him to fall off of the step and to the ground. the video then showed Mailler walk past him toward a grey jeep. [VICTIM #1] got to his feet and confronted Mailler with what Mailler reported to be a knife. The video showed Mailler back up and [VICTIM #1] follow him out of range of the camera. The camera then picked them back up, moving to the north with [VICTIM #1] still following Mailler, but Mailler still facing him, clutching at his waistband.
I then interviewed Mr. [VICTIM #1] in the back of a marked police vehicle. He stated Mr. Mailler stated to him “I will kill you, broke-a*s n*gger.” and pushed him to the ground. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated he was injured and did not know Mr. Mailler’s intentions. He stated he got up and pulled out his pocket knife to defend himself. He stated Mailler was reaching into his pants as if he was going to pull a gun and follow through with his threat to kill him. He defended himself by attempting to close the distance between himself and Mailler.
Mr. [VICTIM #1] had visible injuries to his right forearm and stated he had pain in his left ribcage. EMS was called and responded. Mr. [VICTIM #1] was released from custody and no charges were filed against him.
Mr. Mailler was visibly intoxicated and smelled heavily of an alcoholic beverage. He was moved to my marked patrol vehicle and placed under arrest. He was charged with Terroristic Threats O.C.G.A. 16-11-37 for telling Mr. [VICTIM #1] he would kill him. He was charged with Batter Against A Person 65YO O.C.G.A. 16-5-23.1(j) for pushing Mr [VICTIM #1] to the ground and causing visible bodily injury. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct O.C.G.A. 16-11-39 for harassing customers in the store. He was charged with Public Drunkenness O.C.G.A. 16-11-41 for being visibly intoxicated and disorderly while in public.
He was transported to CCDC where he was booked without incident.
SGT Paige and Lt Alberts responded.
