On 12/16/25, this incident report was created in reference to accident report 251216043. Listed below is what transpired during my investigation.

On 12/16/25, I was provided with a trailer tag [REDACTED] that was attached to the rear of the at fault party in a hit and run. I was advised by Ofc. Willson that the at fault party was possibly driving a white Ford F-350. I was advised that the front emblem for a Ford pickup truck was left at the scene of the crash.

I located the vehicle at the intersection of Pooler Parkway SB at Memorial Blvd at 10:45 AM on the 16th. At 10:47, the vehicle is observed entering the parking lot of Lowes (1565 Pooler Parkway). At 11:20 AM, the vehicle is observed traveling down Quacco Rd south near Berwick Lakes Blvd. I observed the trailer attached to an older model white Ford F-350 dually pickup truck.

On 12/16/25 at 02:05 PM, I contacted the owner of the trailer ([WITNESS #1]) via phone. He advised that he is an owner of a company (Sam-Jay Services Inc) and was not actively driving any of his vehicles. When advised of the accident, he provided the active GPS location of the vehicle in question. He advised the driver of the vehicle (Christopher Warren) has been causing him trouble recently at work.

[WITNESS #1] was very cooperative in this investigation and advised he would provide Warren’s whereabouts showing via GPS tracker, showing Warren drove through the City of Pooler at the time of the accident.

When asked about the F-350 he was driving, I asked about key features of the truck (silver toolbox in the bed of the truck). He advised that was, in fact, the personal truck he let Warren use for work. [WITNESS #1] advised that the vehicle was currently located on West St near Fellwood Dr in Savannah.

On 12/16/25 at 02:47 PM, I arrived at West St in Savannah along with officers from the Savannah Police Department. I would observe the vehicle facing towards West Bay St with the trailer still attached to the rear. I would ask a worker on scene who is driving the vehicle. One of the workers would point out Warren. I would request Warren to come to the front of the vehicle and speak with me.

While we were walking to the front of the truck, I would ask Warren if he had any idea why I was wanting to speak with him. He would advise he did not. When asked if he has been driving the vehicle all day, he stated, “pretty much”. When at the front of the vehicle, I asked if he knew where the damage on the front end was from. He at first stated “I have no idea”. I observed the front emblem missing from the vehicle and the lower part of the front bumper pushed into the vehicle towards the frame of the vehicle.

When asked why a Pooler Police Officer would come into the City of Savannah to come speak with him, he would now advise how he was involved in the accident. He advised that he was attempting to come to a stop, and due to the trailer being loaded he was unable to stop the vehicle before the collision. He would advise he was getting rushed back to the job site and that’s the reason he did not stop at the accident scene and exchange information.

Warren was placed under arrest for leaving the scene of an accident and other charges listed in the report. Warren was placed into handcuffs, double-locked, and checked for fit. Warren was searched incident to arrest with no findings. Warren was secured in the rear of my vehicle.

[WITNESS #1] would arrive on scene, and I released the vehicle to him.

Warren was transported to Memorial Medical Center for clearance. Warren was transported to CCDC for processing, he was given a bond of $1350.00 and a court date of 02/19/26 at 10 AM.

The rear of my patrol vehicle was searched for contraband with no findings.
