On 02/17/2026, while on Uniformed Patrol in the City of Savannah, I responded to [2300 BLOCK] Downing Ave in Reference to Shots Fired. Upon my arrival, I was approached by [VICTIM #1]. Ms. [VICTIM #1] explained that as she was leaving the apartment complex, an unknown Male approached her vehicle and threatened her with a firearm and ultimately shot at her with the gun at her. She described the firearm as similar to a Glock, but silver in color.

Miss [VICTIM #1] explained that she does not know this male personally, but has made contact with him before, as she frequents this apartment complex almost daily to visit her friend “[REDACTED]”. Ms.[VICTIM #1] explained that her first interaction with the suspect was when he was trying to get a blow job from her in exchange for marijuana. Ms. [VICTIM #1] explained that she has a text thread between her and the suspect, which includes threats from the suspect. Ms. [VICTIM #1] does not know how he got her phone number. These text messages started in 2024.

After further investigation, the suspect was determined to be MASON, CORMARION JERMAINE TERRELL. Officers were able to identify the suspect, and detain/arrest MASON, CORMARION JERMAINE TERRELL.

While officers investigated the crime and interviewed witnesses, I spoke with 3 individuals.

The first witness I spoke with was [WITNESS #1]. She explained that she heard gunfire go off outside her office, shes employed with Retreat at Savannah and was on the clock during this time. [WITNESS #1] explained that when she heard the gunshot, she went outside to investigate. She saw a male pointing a gun at a vehicle occupied by a female, and he was screaming at her.

The second witness I spoke with was [WITNESS #2]. He explained that he heard the gunshot, and he saw a male pointing a gun at a vehicle occupied by a female, but before this happened, the female was driving at a high rate of speed. He explained the gunfire may have been reasonable from his point of view.

The third witness I spoke with was [WITNESS #3]. She explained she heard the suspect/victim arguing outside the apartment, then heard a gunshot.

All witnesses are logged in the “Persons” tab.

A search warrant was requested and approved for Mason Camarion’s apartment. Detectives, Forensics, and officers entered Apt. [REDACTED] with approval to look for Firearms/Rounds and the suspect’s cellphone. The search concentrated on the suspect’s bedroom.

I began searching alongside these units, but ultimately stepped outside to avoid being in the way. Detectives/Forensics advised that they did find 3 firearms/ and many airsoft guns, along with the cellphone, in the suspect’s bedroom. Forensics collected the firearms and the cellphone.

Cpl. King transported the suspect to CCDC.

This concludes my involvement in this case.

Sergeant Paige was notified and responded.
Detectives were notified and responded.

CRN cards were provided.
