On Monday November 3rd, 2025 at approximately 02:55 hours units responded to [300 BLOCK] Byck Avenue, Garden City, GA 31408 in reference to a fight in progress inside the home and the female suspect entered the home through the window. While in route dispatch updated advising the suspect is a black female wearing all black identified as Janae Santana who left on foot and lives at [100 BLOCK] Chatham Villa Drive. Upon my arrival I was met by the complainant/victim identified as [VICTIM #1] and her daughter identified as [VICTIM #2].

Complainant/victim: [VICTIM #1]

[VICTIM #1] stated she heard a loud bang outside which startled her [VICTIM #2] and [WITNESS #1], when she looked outside to see what was going on she observed the offender later identified as Cryshauna Powell bent over by [VICTIM #3]’s car ([VICTIM #3]/homeowner). [VICTIM #1] stated she went and woke up [VICTIM #3] to tell her that Cryshauna was outside trying to flatten her tires. [VICTIM #1] stated [VICTIM #3] then went outside to confront the Cryshauna, when [VICTIM #3] confronted her, she overheard Cryshauna say you called the cops on me earlier, you are the reason I went to jail.

[VICTIM #1] stated she came by the front door because she did not want [VICTIM #3] to get hurt and that is when Cryshauna pushed [VICTIM #3] to get to her. [VICTIM #1] stated she walked back to the house to get inside and Cryshauna walked up to the front door and tried to get inside. [VICTIM #1] stated Cryshauna continued fighting with her to get inside and then she scratched at her daughter identified as [VICTIM #2] and scratched her face. [VICTIM #1] stated Cryshauna then grabbed [VICTIM #2] and she was fighting to get her off of her.

[VICTIM #1] stated she was eventually able to get the door shut and locked, she then heard Cryshauna at the window (far right window when looking at the house). [VICTIM #1] stated Cryshauna lifted the window up and said you called the cops on me earlier and had them come to my grandma’s house, she then grabbed [VICTIM #2]’s purse which was sitting on a couch right in front of the window and left. [VICTIM #1] advised she injured her middle finger on her left hand during the altercation. Chatham EMS was called to the scene to assess her and [VICTIM #2]’s injuries. [VICTIM #1] advised she wished to prosecute.

While speaking with [VICTIM #1] she advised she knew Cryshauna as Janae Santana because that is what her social media says. However, I am familiar with [VICTIM #1] and Cryshauna from previous interactions where the offender was arrested, so I asked her if this was the same person that fought her last year and she said yes, it is a constant thing with her.

I then went to my car and looked up my last report I took for this address; I was then able to find the actual identity for “Janae” which was Cryshauna. I then asked [VICTIM #1] to show me Janae’s (Cryshauna) social media page that she uses to contact her. [VICTIM #1] showed me her social media and advised this is her, the profile name was Janae Santana.

While speaking with [VICTIM #1] officers went to [100 BLOCK] Chatham Villa Drive to speak with Cryshauna,. I then gathered [VICTIM #2] and [VICTIM #3]’s statements.

Victim: [VICTIM #2]

[VICTIM #2] stated Cryshauna was fighting her mom [VICTIM #1] and trying to get in the house. [VICTIM #2] stated Cryshauna was trying to come for her and scratched her eye, and grabbed her sweatshirt.

Victim/ witness: [VICTIM #3]

[VICTIM #3] stated [VICTIM #1] woke her up and said that this girl is trying to flatten your tires, referring to Cryshauna. [VICTIM #3] stated she went outside to confront Cryshauna and tell her to go home as she was walking across the neighbor’s yard. [VICTIM #3] stated Cryshauna walked back saying Ms. [VICTIM #3] why did you bring this girl ([VICTIM #1]) over earlier and pushed her.

[VICTIM #3] stated she then confronted [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #3] said she went back inside because she did not want to get involved. [VICTIM #3] stated [VICTIM #1] came back to the house to get away from Cryshauna and that’s when [VICTIM #1] tried to shut the door, but Cryshauna wouldn’t let her. [VICTIM #3] stated they started fighting her but eventually got the door shut. [VICTIM #3] stated when Cryshauna left she took [VICTIM #2]’s purse. [VICTIM #3] advised she did not wish to prosecute.

Both victims declined to be transported by Chatham EMS. Officers responded to [100 BLOCK] Chatham Villa Drive the previous day before this incident with the same involved parties reference CRN: 251102037.

This incident was consistently referred to during my entire interaction with everyone involved at [300 BLOCK] Byck Avenue. It was also mentioned by Cryshauna multiple times according to the victims. This helped me 100 percent identify Cryshauna as the offender. Cryshauna was released from CCDC at 01:18 hours 11/03/2025 and this incident occurred at approximately 02:50 hours on 11/03/2025. A price was never determined for the purse that was stolen, it was unknown what was in the purse, I completed a goolge search for similar purses and observed a median price of $100.

Officers made contact with Cryshauna a second time at [100 BLOCK] Chatham Villa Drive where she was placed under arrest utilizing handcuffs behind the back, checked for fit, and double locked. Ofc. Green then read Cryshauna her Miranda Rights and she agreed to speak with him. Ofc. Green advised she denied the entire incident and said she just got out of jail came home ate and showered. Cryshauna was then placed in Ofc. Greens vehicle and secured with a seatbelt and transported to CCDC where she awaits arraignment.
