On 11/02/2025 at approximately 1042hrs I responded to a fight at [500 BLOCK] Pennsylvania Ave.

Upon arrival I made contact with Ms. [VICTIM #1] who stated she was assaulted by Dariauna Williams. She stated Ms. Williams cut her with a butcher knife. She showed me an approximately 8″ laceration along the left side of her neck. The wound appeared to be jagged and of inconsistent depths. The wound did not appear to be consistent with that caused by a large knife. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated Ms. Williams was currently inside of apartment [REDACTED].

CPL Eblin and I then made contact with Ms. Williams through the front door of apartment [REDACTED]. She stated her front door would not open, so she was instructed to come out of the back door onto the porch. Once outside, she was instructed to climb over the guardrail. Once fully outside she was frisked for weapons. CPL Eblin and I then conducted a safety sweep of the residence. No one was found inside. I opened the front door from the inside and it opened with no issues. I observed the outside door handle to be non-functional, not allowing the door to be opened from the outside, however the door could be opened from the inside.

I asked Ms. Williams where she put the knife and she stated it was in the middle drawer in the kitchen.

I then exited the residence and interviewed Ms. Williams. While speaking with her I observed broken white porcelain on the ground scattered on the concrete under the breezeway.

While speaking with Ms. Williams, who was sitting in a folding chair and not handcuffed, she stated Ms. [VICTIM #1] came to her apartment to talk to her about why she told someone that Ms. [VICTIM #1] was sleeping with her child’s father. She stated Ms. [VICTIM #1] banged on her door and broke it. She stated Ms. [VICTIM #1] attempted to enter her residence and fight her. I asked if Ms. [VICTIM #1] actually entered the residence and she initially stated the fight occurred in the door way.

I then told her that while I was in the residence I saw loose tufts of hair on the floor inside the doorway and she stated it must have come from when Ms. [VICTIM #1] pulled her wig off. She stated Ms. [VICTIM #1] threatened to have someone come and shoot up her house and that she pulled the knife out to defend herself against it. She stated when she heard Ms. [VICTIM #1] say she would have someone shoot up her house, she told her 15yo son to take her 4yo and leave. She stated he did so.

I then spoke with Ms. [VICTIM #1] again to ascertain her version of events. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated she went to the apartment to inquire about why Ms. Williams had told someone she was sleeping with their child’s father and Ms Williams became enraged. She stated Ms. William’s son came outside and held the door shut to keep Ms. Williams from coming outside with a knife. She stated she left the apartment. She stated Ms. Williams then came outside through the back door and threw a plate at her. She stated Ms Williams then reentered the apartment and got the knife. She stated Ms. Williams then returned outside and attempted to “slice” her with the knife.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] demonstrated the motion by quickly moving her hand through the air in a diagonal motion. Ms [VICTIM #1] indicated the knife Ms. Williams used was approximately 12″ inches long by holding her hands apart in an approximation of it’s length. She stated it had a pink handle and a rose-gold blade. She stated it was a butcher knife. After speaking about the knife Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated after Ms. Williams slashed at her, she engaged her physically and placed her in a head lock. She stated Ms. Williams then reached her hand up with the knife in it and cut her neck.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated they then broke contact. She stated while they were fighting, Ms. Williams’ son was trying to take the knife from Ms. Williams. She stated after they broke contact, Ms. Williams continued to verbally confront her, but then walked back inside her residence. When asked about Ms. Williams’ front door, Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated Ms Williams broke it the night prior while intoxicated.

I then viewed a video taken by a bystander that showed Ms. [VICTIM #1] holding Ms. Williams in a headlock, while Ms. Williams had a knife with a gold-colored blade in her hand. The two were standing in the street at the time. During the altercation the video showed a young black male attempting to stop the fight. After the two separate, Ms. Williams continues to say something unintelligible to Ms. [VICTIM #1], then walks back inside. The male disappears from view.

I then spoke with Ms. Williams again. I asked her about the whereabouts of her children and she stated she did not know. I asked her to recount the incident again and she stated Ms. [VICTIM #1] came to her door and attempted to bust in, breaking her door. She stated they fought in the apartment and then Ms. [VICTIM #1] left. She stated Ms. [VICTIM #1] threatened to have someone come shoot up her house, and then made a phone call to have someone “pull up.” She stated she then sent her children away.

I asked her about the broken plate and she stated she could not get out her from door, so had to come over the back railing, and dropped her plate when she did so. I asked why the broken pieces were scattered so far away and she stated it must have happened during the fight because they fought in the breezeway. I asked her why she brought the knife outside and she stated she brought it out to “defend herself.” I asked what she was defending herself against, since she had stated Ms. [VICTIM #1] had already left her apartment and she stated Ms. [VICTIM #1] threatened to have someone come “jump” her. I then brought up with video of her and her son both in the street while she was fighting Ms [VICTIM #1] with the knife in her hand. She stated her son did not leave when she told him too, but “was trying to keep me from going to jail.”

I then placed Ms. Williams under arrest and in handcuffs that were double locked and checked for proper for. She was placed in the back of a marked patrol vehicle. I applied for a search warrant for the residence and it was approved by Judge Harmon. I entered the residence with Cpl Eblin and Sgt Giem. I retrieved an approximately 12″ long knife with a pink handle and a rose-gold blade from the middle drawer in the kitchen.

The knife was logged into the property room as evidence.

Ms. Williams was taken to MMC where she was cleared by a physician. I met her there and provided her with a copy of the search warrant. She was then transported to CCDC where she was booked without incident for Aggravated Assault O.C.G.A. 16-5-21, Possession of a Knife During the Commission Of A Felony O.C.G.A. 16-11-106, and Battery O.C.G.A. 16-5-23.1.

All video and photo evidence was uploaded to Evidence.com
