On 11/06/2025 I was dispatched to [50 BLOCK] Goebel Ave in reference to a domestic violence incident.
Upon arrival, I met with [REDACTED], the neighbor of [VICTIM #1] and Gregory Lindsay. Earlier, Ms. [VICTIM #1] ran to his house and asked him to call the police. He had no further information about what had happened or why the police had to be called.
At the same time, Ofc. Leguillow approached the incident address and heard some yelling and banging from inside the house, and a woman, Ms. [VICTIM #1], was crying and yelling. Hearing the signs of distress, we approached the house and made announcements before opening the door to find Ms. [VICTIM #1] in tears and yelling that he, Mr. Lindsay, had just ran out the back door and out of the back gate to the alleyway behind the house.
On 10/31/2025, units were dispatched to the same address in response to a domestic situation (CRN 251031105). At that time, the glass to the front door was broken, and both parties made accusations of being assaulted by the other.
Tonight, Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that after they got into a disagreement at a bar downtown, they took separate Ubers to leave the bar, but both ended up at [50 BLOCK] Goebel Ave. She said she did not know he was outside, but he came in through the front door and grabbed her by the neck, stating, “B*tch, I’m tired of you,” and “B*tch, you are going to die.” he then threw her on the floor of the living room and stayed on top of her, choking her. Ms. [VICTIM #1] said she could not breathe and began to black out.
Once Mr. Lindsay got her off of her he dragged her to the bedroom at the rear of the house and would not let her leave the room. At this time she stated he took her phone when she tried to leave to notify the neighbor He said that she couldn’t leave until his Uber arrived. Soon after, Mr. Lindsay ran out of the back of the property.
Mr. Lindsay was located near the Parkers gas station near Pennsylvania Ave. and Presidents St. by Ofc. Leguillow. He was arrested and transported back to [50 BLOCK] Goebel Ave. Once he arrived, I advised him of his Miranda Rights, via card, and post miranda agreed to answer questions. He stated that after the argument at the bar, Ms. [VICTIM #1] repeatedly told him he could not come back to the house. Mr. Lindsay is on the lease at the address and said he went anyway because that’s his residence. He made statements saying all he wanted to do was leave the house with his belongings tonight and Ms. [VICTIM #1] would not let him leave.
On Ms. [VICTIM #1]’ neck, I saw red abrasions and swelling, and noticed her voice was raspy and stressed. On her left left and buttocks, I was able to see fresh injury from being thrown to the floor, which had pieces of glass scattered across the surface.
The signs of injury were consistent with Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s account of the incident.
EMS arrived on scene, but Ms. [VICTIM #1] refused transport.
Photos of the injuries were taken and uploaded to Axon evidence.
A supervisor arrived on scene.
