On 01/24/2026 at approximately 2108 hours I was dispatched to 11750 Abercorn St. (Red Roof Inn) in response to a call about stolen property.
Upon arrival I made contact with Ms. Haylie Ward who advised that she just had her “Pink Gun” stolen from outside her hotel room. When asked if she had any physical descriptions of the suspects Ms. Ward was unable to provide any description. When asked how her gun was stolen Ms. Ward stated that she left her gun outside of her hotel room door on the ground.
I then relocated to the Hotel’s security camera room where I was able review Hotel cameras and witnessed Ms. Ward place a Pink Pistol on the ground outside of her hotel room at 1914 and approximately thirty seconds later Ms. Ward can be seen retrieving the same Pistol and she brought it back in the room. Two minutes later I was on scene. There was no other people that came to her room.
When asked for more information about her Pistol Ms. Ward was unable to provide the make, model or serial number.
For making a false Police report Ms. Ward was charged with O.C.G.A 16-10-26
Ms. Ward was transported to CCDC where she was booked with no further incident.
