On 12/04/3035 at approximately 0242 hrs while on uniformed patrol in a marked unit, I was dispatched to [2700 BLOCK] Ogeechee Rd #[REDACTED] in reference to a domestic disturbance later determined to be an aggravated assault call. The call was placed by a 3rd party and the call notes stated there was video of the incident.
Upon my arrival on scene, I made contact with Mr. Jarrod Robertson. He stated he arrived on scene approximately 15 minutes before police arrived and he knocked on Mrs. [VICTIM #1]’s door trying to rekindle the relationship. He stated he knocked on the door loudly because she did not answer at first and when she answered the door they talked. He stated she was loud but, there was no violence or anything.
I made contact with Mrs. [VICTIM #1]. She stated Mr. Robertson was banging and kicking her door. She stated she opened the door to see who it was and Mr. Robertson pushed her inside and entered the home. She stated he argued with her and she told him to leave her home. She stated she stepped outside to try to get him to leave and he followed her outside. She stated he pushed her down the concrete stairs outside of the home. She stated Mr. Robertson tried to make her get into his car but she refused. She stated he slapped her in the face knocking her glasses off. She stated he strangled her.
I asked Mrs. [VICTIM #1] the following questions about the strangulation:
How long did he strangle you? Approximately 5-6 seconds
On a scale of 1-10, how much pressure did he use? 6
Was it hard to breathe? Yes
Did you wet yourself or defecate? No
Did you fear for your life? Yes
How did you escape the strangulation? He stopped when police pulled up.
I asked Mrs. [VICTIM #1] if she and Mr. Robertson were ever married or lived together. She answered in the negative.
I asked if they had children together. She stated they did not. They were just in a relationship together and broke up approximately 2 weeks ago.
I made contact with the caller, Mr. [WITNESS #1]. He showed me 3 videos from his security camera located on the front porch of his home that faces the front of Mrs. [VICTIM #1]’s home.
The first video recorded at 0229 hrs on 12/04/2025 showed Mr. Robertson standing in front of Mrs. [VICTIM #1]’s open front door and Mrs. [VICTIM #1] standing on the inside of the doorway. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] could be heard yelling at Mr. Robertson telling him to “Go” Mr. Robertson pushed her into the home and entered the home closing the door behind him.
The second video recorded at 0236 hrs on 12/04/2025 showed Mr. Robertson and Mrs. [VICTIM #1] standing on the front porch of the home. They were arguing with each other next to the stairs. Mr. Robertson stepped closer to Mrs. [VICTIM #1] and she backed away from him into the corner of the porch next to the railing. Mr. Robertson followed Mrs. [VICTIM #1] to the corner and wrapped his hands around her midsection. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] could be heard telling him to please stop and to go while pushing him away. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] side stepped by Mr. Robertson and he went down the stairs.
Mrs. [VICTIM #1] continued to argue with Mr. Robertson while he paced back and forth. He approached her again and stood close to her while she stood with her back against the wall of the home. Mr. Robertson could be seen slapping her once with his right hand and once with his left hand. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] sat down on the stairs. Mr. Robertson opened the door to the home then shut it. He walked to where Mrs. [VICTIM #1] was sitting and slapped her on the right side of her face with his right hand. He then used his right hand and pushed her down by the right side of her head and kicked her as she fell down the stairs with his right foot. The view of Mrs. [VICTIM #1] was blocked by Mr. Robertson’s car for a few seconds as he stood over her.
The third video recorded at 0239 hrs on 12/04/2025 showed Mrs. [VICTIM #1] sitting on the steps with Mr. Robertson standing in front of her. He slapped her with his left hand on the right side of her face. He could be seen using his right hand to grab or push Mrs. [VICTIM #1] down onto her back by her neck area. He held her down for approximately 5 seconds leaning on top of her. he let her up and she stood up telling him again to leave. She could be heard telling Mr. Robertson that he just put his hands around her neck. She ran into her home and tried to shut the door. Mr. Robertson chased her and followed her inside closing the door behind him.
