On 3/31/2026 at approximately 1225 hours at [200 BLOCK] Laurelwood Dr, I responded to a domestic disturbance in progress.
While on scene, after Mr. Patilla had been placed under arrest for Terroristic Threats (Felony), around 1256 hours, [VICTIM #1], the mother of [REDACTED] (2mo), arrived and asked to speak with me about a physical altercation that she had been engaged in with Mr. Patilla.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Patilla had asked her to drop off [REDACTED] (2mo), so Ms. [VICTIM #1] came to [200 BLOCK] Laurelwood Dr to drop off their child around 1100 hours. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that after she had dropped off her child, she went back outside to get into her vehicle to head to work. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Patilla came outside and the two of them engaged in a verbal altercation about an incident that occurred the other night when Ms. [VICTIM #1] had went out. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Patilla did not like when she went out and he had came to her location to get her.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that this verbal altercation escalated to a physical altercation where Mr. Patilla struck her multiple times. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that when she was sitting in the driver seat of her vehicle, Mr. Patilla came over to the driver side of her vehicle and put two hands around her neck and strangled her. I observed a bright red mark on the right side of Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s neck.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she was able to get away and while she had been on her way to work, Mr. Patilla sent her multiple text messages threatening her. In one of the text messages that Ms. [VICTIM #1] showed me, Mr. Patilla texted her, “I shouldv killed yu btc”. He also texted her, “Exactly why I beat yo a*s now btc.”
Based on the marks on Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s neck and the text messages that threaten her life, Mr. Patilla was charged with Aggravated Assault DVA and Terroristic Threats DVA (Felony).
Mr. Patilla had been read his Miranda Rights by Ofc. Stephenson (refer CRN CC260331012). Mr. Patilla agreed to speak to me at CCDC about his side of what happened. Mr. Patilla stated that he was beaten by Ms. [VICTIM #1] and her grandmother, [REDACTED]. Mr. Patilla stated that he never put his hands around Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s neck, only that he had grabbed her arms to stop her from hitting him.
All photos taken in relation to this call will be uploaded to evidence.com. Ms. [VICTIM #1] refused EMS.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] was issued a CRN card.
