On October 14th, 2025, at 0413 hours, I was on duty, in uniform, on patrol, in the Pooler, GA city limits. Ofc. Smith notified me of a 2018 Chevrolet Impala (NO TAG) that was driven into the ditch on Raymond Road near Old Dean Forest Road.

When I arrived on scene, Ofc. Smith told me that the driver had left the scene prior to his arrival after a verbal argument with the severely intoxicated passenger. Shortly after my arrival, the alleged driver, Ms. Jennifer Moore, arrived on scene.

Ms. Moore told me she was the driver of the vehicle and drove it into the ditch. She left the scene after a verbal argument with the passenger.

I conducted a records check on Ms. Moore through NCIC/GCIC. I discovered that her driver’s license was suspended for FAILURE TO APPEAR on 05/19/2025.

Ms. Moore was placed under arrest at 0446 hours for Driving While License Suspended, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, No Insurance, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Failure to Purchase Tag Within 7 Days. She was handcuffed (double locked), checked for fit, searched incident to arrest, and secured into the rear of my patrol vehicle.

Ofc. Lunsford transported Ms. Moore to Memorial Medical Center for medical clearance and to Chatham County Detention Center, where she was processed. She was issued citations.

Ms. Moore’s vehicle was towed by SAPP’s Towing Company, and a hold was placed for NO INSURANCE. A tow form was completed by Ofc. Smith.

An accident report with the same case number was completed for this incident.
